Excellent location for a short two night stay. Walkable to many of Boston’s attractions and neighborhoods. Easy access to the airport and car return and a perfect spot to rest after road trip. Interesting repurposed hotel with unique floor plan in a historic building. Will consider for our next time.

I have never stayed in a room quit like this. There was literally a 9 inch gap between the end of the bed and the steel desk frame. I have bruises on my shine from getting up in the middle of the night. The place is ancient and not kept up. My wife had to place a towel in the floor of the shower it was so dirty. The bed was the worst we've ever had in a hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone. 0 star review

The hotel staff were fabulous, a big shout out to Danielle, Maria and Carlos...they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. Danielle provided excellent information about the city and how best to get around. The hotel was in a great location and very clean. Rooms and bedding comfortable. The only con was the surprise fee of $20+ tax for amenities which was for water, apples and mints...none of which I wanted but nonetheless the cost was added on to our stay. I believe the fee should be removed or hidden - there should not be a surprise fee added on at check in, very unprofessional.

La unica ventaja es que esta bien situado para citas en el Mass General, pero no tienen restaurante, unicamente para el desayuno. The property is in good condition & it’s a safe area, but overall cleanliness lacks. At first glance it’s fine, but when you look in corners, behind toilet, shower floor, some furniture surfaces, window ledges, etc. it’s just not clean. Our door lock battery failed and it was eventually resolved by maintenance; however, the communication from front desk staff was nil and we had a flight to catch. She said very little to us and we had no idea if they were going to resolve the situation. The one thing she did say was that it was our fault by putting our hotel keys by our phones. Turns out the lock battery was dead and there was no apology and no communication on if/when it would be resolved. I won’t say don't stay here as it wasn’t awful, but they claim to be 4-star and I didn’t find cleanliness and service to be 4-star. Great location and walkable to North End/Little Italy & other areas like Boston Public Market, Quincy Market & The Garden if you want to go to a game. Dining is convenient and lots to choose from within walking distance.

Good property in a great location. Small lobby, small (single) elevator, small gym, and our room was quite small. Nevertheless, we were quite comfortable. Staff is friendly, public areas are well cared for, the small gym has what you need to do a workout and it’s no trouble to wait a few minutes for the elevator. Room has all the basics covered just fine, though our carpet could use an update. Most of all it’s a really great location with plenty of activities within easy reach on foot or via public transport. The direct area does get quite busy on nights when there’s a game at TD Garden.
