Safe, walkable, convenient, quiet. One issue: when we arrived they assigned us a wrong category of room and finally they changed it because we claim to them the air condition was noisy, the hairdryer was broken and the mirror of the bathroom too. The room didn’t look than the one we reserved online. The new room was what we expected

We booked this hotel for the Boston marathon. The location is great from the finish line. It’s close to many restaurants.

Rooms were too high tech for their own good. Phone impossible to use. Espresso machine very fancy, but did not work. auto shade in bathroom was either all the way up or down, it would not stop in the middle.

Great stay for the Boston marathon. The hotel did some very cute events, like spectator sign making and made all runners feel special. They printed personalized finishers certificates for the guests with their official finish find.

This AKA location is newly remodeled within the past year. I had stayed here previously. It is a great location and convenient to Back Bay, Boston Common, and other Boston neighborhoods. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant has good food at typical hotel restaurant prices. Gym is quite small but has new equipment, and AKA guests have use of nearby Equinox health club that is fantastic. Common areas of the lobby are OK, but not very community-like (no bustling hotel lobby like some places). Recommended for people that want a nice quiet hotel with friendly service.
