Everything about this hotel (except for the valet parking and the stupid "resort fee" which I absolutely detest) makes it my new favorite place in Boston. Location, housekeeping, bed and linens, amazing shower with controls in the right place, aromatherapy-worthy amenities, blackout shades that actually work, great restaurant breakfast, helpful and friendly front desk staff, gorgeous public spaces, new gym, everything great.

Front desk Nick was less that hospitable upon our checking in. He was not only short and sarcastic in his responses but he made us feel like he was doing us the biggest favor by being there. Nick has absolutely no business being at the front desk let alone the first impression for this particular location. Julia however, the restaurant manager couldn’t have been more hospitable and accommodating when we went downstairs to get coffee the following morning. Pleasant, accommodating and exactly what you would expect from someone in the hospitality business.
