Hotel is good, but pool is dangerous.

The room we had was a good size and clean. The air con worked well. The breakfast was ok and the eating area was a good size. The pool was its downfall. It was freezing, dirty and dangerous. The step into the pool had a broken hand rail that was severed at the base and about a 5 inch diameter rusty metal rail was sticking up from the ground. The hand rail was extremely mobile too. This should be removed/replaced immediately. Someone could cut their foot or leg on it. I did report to a person on reception who said they were aware of it.

Great service comfortable stay for families

My son and I stayed there for three nights because he had a tournament in Salem the front desk concierge named Bob was excellent. He changed my room to a higher floor without question. He also helped us with an issue in the room with the television personally.

Our king bed only came with one regular sized pillow, there were also several small square pillows. When we called to ask for more they said they didn’t have any extra pillows, this was rather disappointing.

Except for the 5 smoking guests on the bench to the right of the door the property would of gotten an excellent score. There needs to be a designated smoking spot away from the hotel. Maybe at the top of the parking lot in the back. Other than that we really liked our stay. It was really clean and comfy with staff to match. The kids loved the breakfast and got full. Said they had lots of options. Is a place we would stay at again if ever in the area.
