The pictures were not what I walked into, to say this place is on the good side of Baton Rouge the room was horrible very old and room smelt of pee. The toilet overflown and the maintenance guy did come to fix it but the room had toilet water everywhere and there wasn’t any cleaning services to clean the room or move us to another one. Lastly, the bathroom is very tiny I felt claustrophobic inside the shower with the ceiling nearly touching my head.

We had friends check in the night prior to our room. We were given attitude when we arrived stating our room wasn’t ready for check in but I explained the room was already checked in that I just needed a key. We were then given a key but our friends hooked our in return. Upon returning to the property we inquired about getting some bath towels and we were told they had no bath towels to give us because they were out but that they could offer us hand towels to dry off with. We then proceeded to go upstairs and share the one towel that was not used the night prior along with the hand towels so that we could all shower prior to bed. We pulled out the sofa bed and realized there was only a fitted sheet available; I in return headed back down stairs to request a blanket and pillow. I was told at the desk that they had no blankets or pillows they were out of those along with towels but that they could offer me a sheet. I obviously didn’t want a sheet as a blanket so I kindly refused and went back upstairs.

Lipstick on a Pig.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. We checked in and headed to the ballfield. After a full day of watching my son play in the rain, we get back to the hotel around 11 PM. It’s warm in the room so I go to turn on the unit below the window - no power. No maintenance. No open rooms. Luckily, my boy was so tired that he was able to sleep. I wasn’t so lucky. This place is absolutely a lipstick pig.

Good service, clean but needs work

We had a comfortable bed with nice bedding. Whole hotel looked, felt and smelled clean. Service was very good! Location and amenities were just what we wanted. Price was good! Breakfast was ok. All that being said, we had to switch rooms because of faulty equipment and the second room also had issues. We made it work. Could really use better plugs by the bed. There is construction outside so the driveway is partially blocked and the parking seems risky (though we had no problem). The enitre hotel really needs updating. Dinner at the Cheesecake Bistro across the street was fantastic!

Decent hotel, terrible customer service.

Upon checking in the front desk host informed me that I had reserved a room with 1 King bed. I informed her that that was incorrect. I showed her a confirmation email from the third-party that I booked through, as well as a conformation email that I had from the Hyatt hotel stating that I reserved a room with 2 Double Beds and a Sofa Bed. She stated that the third party booking company probably didn't send over the correct reservation information. I informed her that that doesn't make sense because I have confirmation emails from both companies with the correct booking information. She then said to let her see what she could do and it would be between an 45M-1Hr before the room became available. I came back in approximately one hour the room wasn't ready, she then stated to give them 15 additional mins I came back in 15 mins and the room still wasn't ready. After 1Hr&30 mins, I came back and asked the host would I be given an hour and 30 mins beyond check out-time to stay in the hotel since I wasn't able to get into my room due to reasons beyond my control, the host informed me to call down to the front desk in the morning, basically brushing it off as it'll be another shift's problem. Finally,a different hotel attendant ended up getting me a hotel room after about 1.45mins. Overall, I ended up calling corporate because the initial host was rude and unprofessional and probably went in the system to switch my hotel reservation herself not expecting me to call corporate on her.
