Check-in: woman at the desk was rude, unkind and not helpful. I had arranged a late check-out of 1pm in advance as a Bonvoy member. After driving 5 hours from NY, I was informed by the woman at the front desk that she didn’t see any note for a late check-out and that I must be mistaken. Well, if a member and customer tells you that she arranged it, are you accusing your customers of lying? This was clearly an error on Marriott’s part, but she did not try to rectify the situation. I asked to speak to a manager. A man came out and said the best he could do was 12:30 and he wasn’t allowed to give me 1pm. Really? We are going to argue over 30 minutes. When I woke up in the morning, the woman at the desk was much friendly and accommodating. She helped right way and said that 1pm was ok. Staff needs to get their act together. You are running a business and have a reputable name to stand by. Upsetting and insulting a customer after a long drive is not acceptable:
