Hyatt Regency Milwaukee

Downtown Hotel Connected via Skywalks

Premium level hotel connected to Wisconsin Center events via skywalks. Drawbacks were price of Bistro 333 Restaurant and gift store for coffee, water, etc. No pool does not work well for families. Other than that top notch hotel downtown.

Motel 6 Oak Creek

Fine for a quick overnight stay

Given unknown transit times to and from MKE, this place was budget friendly and just five minutes from the airport. No elevator, not even alarm clock in the room. The staff was kind and helpful, though, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Hampton Inn Milwaukee/Brookfield

Quiet, clean, elegant rooms, amenities nearby

We were having some work done on our house and needed a warm, comfortable place to stay on a frigid evening. This Hampton Inn fit the bill beautifully. The rooms were large, spacious, and yet refined, with excellent lighting and great features. Bathroom and shower were nicely sized as well. Staff was excellent and were able to address our needs promptly and courteously. There's also a good Perkins right next door, easy walking distance if you need a warm meal after travel.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Milwaukee Bayshore Area

Pleasant surprise

I booked my room at the Bayshore location as an alternative to staying downtown. For the price, I was happily surprised with the spacious, well appointed room. I also liked the free parking and breakfast. The room doors are unfortunately loud and slam shut so disrespectful guests really disturb those trying to sleep! The bathroom did not have a fan, which would have been nice. The staff was friendly and professional but one person stands out and his name is Odelle. His smile and kindness was so welcoming and I appreciated his awesome customer service!
