Functional room. Helpful staff. Great location. I would recommend to all.

The hotel has great location and very comfortable rooms. Compared to other hotels we have stayed in Italy, this was certainly larger. The furniture and decor was dated but everything seemed clean. Breakfast room was small but adequate. The staff was not the friendliest.

Friendly staff with good breakfast option. Will not hesitate to book again in the future. Very close to major tourist spots.

Located steps away from the main piazza, location is what makes this place great. Out room did have a food odor due to the restaurant next door but we didn't mind. Compared to other hotels, we were very pleased. Each morning we didn't have to take a water taxi to the main area. Right in the heart of San Marco, you couldn't ask for more

The BEST part of the hotel is its prime LOCATION in the heart of busy, beautiful San Marco. There are plenty of eateries and bars steps away from the hotel. Although, like most places in Venice, it is somewhat difficult to find. However, you have to go outside through a BACK ALLEY and be buzzed in TO GET TO YOUR ROOM. The rooms are small with OLD FURNISHINGS yet the BATHROOMS seemed updated and WELL-MAINTAINED.

Very conveniently located near St. Marco. I had a triple room, room size was good, it was room 302 which you take the elevator to second floor, and climb 10 steps to the room. I believe for Venice it was good. Breakfast was OK, typical i guess.. Reception was good. Over all, i would stay here again

The Good: Fantastic location, a few minutes from St. Marks Square. Nice sheets & towels and clean. The Bad: they stuck us in some kind of overflow annex with the lumpiest bed I've seen in years. The Ugly: management who acted like we were idiots when we discovered that we were not in the actual hotel (when we arrived we were taken from the ugly lobby outside & around the corner & up some steps to a strange 3 room area. We had no idea that farther back behind reception was the actual hotel. Hey, it's Venice, everything is chopped up and around little alley ways.) When we complained the next morning they turned on us. Were incredibly rude and obnoxious. We were moved to a lovely room in the main hotel but the TV didn't work & couldn't be fixed because the person went home. Oh well, plenty to do in Venice but would have like to have had a working TV. The "buffet" breakfast was tiny & they ran out of coffee. I had to track down someone to get some.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff was helpful and professional, the location is superb, but the rooms need to be updated/modernized. The bed felt old and the sheets were a little uncomfortable. The staff and location definitely make up for the outdated feel of the room. This hotel might not be our first choice next time we are in Venice, but I would consider it and would somewhat recommend it. I feel that a Venice stay is highly overpriced. The hotel is very close the tourist attractions of Venice.

The staff answered all of our needs. Small, but very good for the price.

Clean, decent hotel, friendly staff, and proximity to the Piazza San Marco make this hotel worth consideration. The bathroom is clean but basic. The breakfast is included. It's good and filling for a day of walking the canals. My room looked out onto a wall (making for a dark room), and the hot water is erratic (an inherent problem in this city). The staff and location make this hotel worth considering a return visit.

This hotel is a basic 3 star hotel, no computers, staff tried to be helpfull, rooms very small, bathroom shower so small you can hardly turn around in it. If your unfit or over weight the shower would be a disaster. Stayed 4 days and the sheets were never changed. The air conditioning worked great and the hotel is in a great location 2 minute to San Marco. Breakfast area is small and it is hard to get a table and on 2 days they ran out of fruit.

Perfectly clean and comfortable room with good bathroom facilities. Great location. Pleasant staff.

We were in Venice for two nights while awaiting a cruise of the Mediterranian. Our vacation got off to a rocky start with a 5.5 hour mechanical plane delay and thus lost a day in Venice. We called to inform them of our delay and [...] @ the front desk could not have been nicer. The lobby, hallways, room and bathroom were all clean & inviting. We elected to enjoy our free breakfast in our room (no charge for the delivery either). On the first day I went down to get more coffee & on the second day they anticipated this by bring us more coffe along with breakfast without asking. The staff was exceptional, polite, friendly and attentive. We could not have been more pleased with the price, location, room, staff and food.

Very clean, very nice hotel. Excellent location. Some of the staff was very nice but several were rather unfriendly- the only place I stayed in Italy where the staff was anything but friendly and very helpful.

Very clean and quite hotel with first-rate remodeled rooms and extremely convenient location. Good breakfast but need to wait when more than 15 people present. Need to wait till 12pm to check in. Unbeatable price. Highly recommended.

Hotel was a little hard to find, but once we found it, decided that it was in a great location. Just outside of San Marcos Square. Staff very friendly and helpful. Arranged free tour of a Murano glass factory (had to pay for water bus back) and arranged a gondola ride with another couple to lower the cost! Rooms are clean and modern enough that you don't feel like you are slummin' it, but have an old world style about them. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again.
