The room was very nice with updated décor and bathroom. The staff, Samuel, Marco & Analissa are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good, allowing one to make their own cappuccino. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Noise could be a factor depending on the location of the room. The only negative is the fact there is no elevator, although staff is willing to help with luggage.

Ideally located in the heart of Venice and walking distance from the main attractions, this hotel is a wonderful choice. Everything from the staff, the delicious and lots of options to choose from for breakfast, the comfort of the bed and the luxurious feel will make a memorable stay.

We stayed here for two nights and I am so pleased I chose the Al Nuevo Teson. Everything from the help from Alisandro when we checked in to the beautiful room made a perfect two days in Venice . The hotel I stayed so easy to find when you get off the vaparetto at Arsenale. As it’s not too deep in the winding roads if this is your first time to Venice you won’t struggle to find it. The room was spotless, cosy (it was a really cold night) and very good quality for 3 star. The bed was super comfy too. I thought we were getting an annex room however we got a room in the main hotel. Breakfast was enough to set us up for the day. It had fruit salad which was really fresh and tasty, bread, cheese, ham, eggs, yoghurt, croissants, cereals, Nutella, honey, jam, coffee, fruit juice and on our first day the tastiest lemon slice imaginable. It is no more than a 5 minute walk to St Marks Square and all the bustling streets typical of Venice, we took a left and went down to arsenale and wandered as well for a while. I would thoroughly recommend the Al Nuevo Teson for a quality hotel with friendly helpful staff and superb breakfast and location. I can’t wait to return.

Booked by daughters for Xmas and they chose well.on vaporetta no 1 route get off Arsene turn left over bridge then first right down a narrow street is next to a snack bar ( which is worth a visit for a late beer ) nice reception we were in 108 looking out back compact room strong shower no complaints. Brekkie till 1030 continental but fresh and good choice . City tax paid at reception on departure and you can leave bags. Great location for st marks ,Rialto etc .theres a coopstore forprovisioms if you turn left past arsene over 3 bridges and right down garabaldi. Some nice bars down there too .enjoy , it is dearerthan ukbiy shop around and avoid places that charge covers and service charge.

Nice hotel, nice staff clean and tidy, this hotel is exactly what you want to stay in Venice, local clean tidy, cheap. we stayed during valentines 4 of us. I waived the insurance and paid up front so got 50% off. The staff are friendly and the hotel clean and tidy with a small but just enough breakfast, the location is perfect and for the price you just cant go wrong.

Nuovo Teson was a great choice. One of the best things is the location. We arrived to Santa Lucia Train Station and from "Piazzale Roma" (next to it) we took the ship. The hotel is nearly locate to "Arsenale" station, and believe that it is a great advantage. Hotel is near Piazza San Marco (10 minutes by walk) Breakfast was correct, included coffee milk fruits cereal bread and rooms comfortable enough. Hotel Staff speak several languages (we heard french, english, italian and little bit of spanish)

Very cold in the rooms, heating almost non existent. Condensation dripping from windows to bathroom floor everywhere. Shower cabin is broken and dated and so small - child will struggle in there! Bathroom has black mould on walls, scary. Bathroom floor super cold! Women beware. Flimsy walls, you can hear every cough on the floor. Bad cleaning, once they see "dont disturb" sign they decide to NOT clean your room for 4days. Half of electric outlets were broken - reception ignored numerous complaints. They actually ignored ALL complaints, just "yeah ok nothing we can do". I understand its probably family business and they saving every cent but fixing breakages in a rooms is a must! Wouldnt recommend to fragile people prone to cold or sensitive sleepers. Also they totally ignored our booking comment about our anniversary and gave us smallest worst room with breakages which is not very nice.

My daughter booked this trip as a present for us, she chose well. The location is superb, comfortable room, nice breakfast and very nice and helpful staff. They made us some good recommendations including visiting the roof terrace at the department store near the Rialto bridge, which has a lovely view, especially at sunset. We didn't see this in any of the guide books so it was a great tip - you can book on line at (it was free but we had to book).

We booked 4 rooms in the hotel way in advance, and got upgraded upon paying a percentage of the total in advance of arrival. The location of the hotel is ideal, especially if you come during the Biennale (from June to the end of NOvember), as it's walking distance both from the Giardini and the Arsenale. Although the hotel is close to everything, it's very quiet and surrounded by small cafes and restaurants. The rooms (in the main building) are adequate and clean and sleep quality is also adequate, though not great.. Breakfast is somewhat limited but perfectly adequate. As the hotel is in an old building, there is no elevator, but the first floor is accessible via a rail -wheelchair lift. The staff, without exception, was extremely friendly and helpful and upon departure,k took our luggage to the taxi boat they helped us order. If you're lookikng for a 3 star type hotel, I would hnighly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Slightly small rooms but thats okay as we spent most of our time sightseeing. Breakfast was perfect. Continental style: cereal, fruit, pastries. Well presented and gopd coffee. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Great location. Great restaurant downstairs. Perfect hotel for 2 people. Free Wi-Fi. Good location.
