Looking up reviews at our already booked room which weren't recently great, we found this and booked day before arrival last room. Great apartment really clean and big, check in was easy and the guy showed us on the map local places to eat visit etc very helpful and glad we booked here! Slightly outside the main tourist area a short walk or water bus cheaper restaurants and bars and great to see a local real side of Venice,
The apartment was fabulous with nice view of the canal. It was very spacious, could have easily fit 4 or 5 and there was only 2 of us. It was spotlessly clean with comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent & loads of it!! Location was great, short walk to the bus/train station. Beside a square with lots of nice restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment and will definately return.
We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment. It was spotlessly clean. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, and given a map and instructions for the river bus and places of interest. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops, including a very well stocked supermarket where we could buy wine, bread and cheese etc to stock the fridge. Restaurant prices are reasonable near the apartment - there is plenty to choose from so you don't have to go to the pricier part of Venice to eat. We would have liked to have gone on to the rooftop terrace, but this was unavailable. We would definitely return.
We stayed in an Apartment with one bedroom in the Suite in Venice Ai Carmini for 3 nights. The Apartment was clean, very big and the staff totally nice. Even though we never used it, it had an evalator in the building. The bedroom had two Windows with a nice view directly to a canal, and the wardrobe was big. The small safe was not working, but we instantly got a key for it from the staff. the kitchen had two cooking plates, a fridge and tableware. The bathroom was very nice, unfortunately the water temperatures were changing from hot to cold very often during the shower. We didn't use the living room. The surrounding was very quiet, we slept very well, and within 2 walking minutes we reached restaurants and coffees. We received a mail with instructions how we get to the Apartments, and also instructions for later arrivals. I can only recommend to stay there for Holidays in Venice!
The suite is very large and the views are terrific. The problem is the bugs. Obviously being over a canal you'll have moskitos but the room had so many. Just make sure you are very aware when opening the door to the terrace. They will come in and in a hurry!
Great location, located about 25-30 minutes walk from San Marco, lovely little square 5 minutes walk with plenty restaurants and bars decently priced. Nice and quiet at night with it being away from the busy areas. Apartment was cleaned on a daily basis and had all the appliances we needed. Only thing that let it down was the broken coffee machine other than that we couldn't fault it. Will definitely he staying here again!
Well equipped and spacious apartments, in a lovely building in an interesting part of Venice. Plenty of restaurants, bars and food shopping nearby, including fruit and fish market stalls and two wine merchants selling good wine on tap in plastic bottles. Good location to get around Venice. Be aware the shower temperature varies a bit, but was fine for us. This was our second visit and we would return. This time though we suffered from mosquitos - take repellent!
Reception were really friendly. Allowed us to leave our luggage in their reception area as we had an evening flight. All round really good, better than a hotel I would say. If you can afford more, go for it.
This apartment was spacious and modern, and a good base for exploring Venice, with a lovely (not too touristy) square nearby. The staff here were helpful, accommodating our requests and helping with advice for exploring Venice. Although they are only available up to 2pm we had no problem checking in late in the evening. Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were very flat. Also the air conditioning machine smelt quite musty. Other facilities in the apartment were very good though, and I would certainly be happy to stay here again. Aside from that a very good experience, and although expensive it seems a fair price in Venice.
