Beautiful hotel, very clean, great location and very goof breakfast.

Perfectly located with helpful staff. However, NO air conditioning in October! Forced to open the windows ( no screens) and breathe in cigarette smoke from below.

Really beautiful garden and lovely breakfast, also enjoyed our room overlooking garden. The staff was so helpful. I highly recommend this hotel

The location/front desk/breakfast is excellent. The room was very outdated, one comfortable chair for three people, and a tiny bathroom. The beds were so-so. The air conditioning in hot August made the room bearable...nothing beyond that. I’m not sure if that is a typical room for Venice, but I was disappointed after all the rave reviews.

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Venezia. My family stayed our 2 week in Italy here and it was a great start to our vacation. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was memorably good. The concierge helped us with both our arrival and departure by assisting us with organizing transportation. Highly recommend Horel Glora for a combination of affordability with quality. Great value!

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and have never had a bad experience. The hotel is beautiful, the garden is peaceful, the rooms are well appointed and clean and the staff is the best. If you want a location central to everything, and with a genuine Italian flare this is the one for you. If you however want an American style hotel best to find a Holiday Inn.

lovely small hotel with delightful court yard and gracious staff Staying at Hotel Flora made our visit to Venice even more enjoyable

The staff was great at Hotel Flora. Really helpful with suggestions for dinner or how to get to somewhere or just a Bongiorno. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! We loved it. The room was exactly what I expected as Venice is very expensive. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very nice though and down a cute alley way that I noted many people stop and take pictures of as they wander Venice. I didn't love the location. Okay not entirely true. I loved how close it was to St. Mark's Square, but I'm not a high end shopper and you had to wade through all the people that are to get anywhere. Otherwise it was great. We had a very early flight out and had a private water taxi picking us up . The pick up was only 3 alleys away from Hotel Flora. So convenient! All in all...it was a great stay and if I was headed back to Venice again I'd consider the Hotel Flora again.

This hotel has an excellent location. Decoration, ambiance and service are also outstanding. The breakfast menu is delicious and the garden is like a quiet oasis. Note their address is incorrect on Google maps. You should search by address and not hotel name. We wandered for an hour trying to find the place until we found our the right path with a printed map.

Easy walk to St Marks Square and water taxi station Big spacious rooms. Loved the detail to them Breakfast was delicious

After a first, uncomfortable night, and communication issues, day 2 we got a room change as one became available. Complete night and day change in our experience. This is a lovely hotel, with very lovely staff. and is wonderfully located!

A lovely hotel very close to Chanel, Hermes and other upscale stores and boutiques. The wonderful staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. The room was very clean and I slept so well. Breakfast was beautifully arranged, delicious and very filling. The concierge recommended a great restaurant- ristorante raffaelle which was close by and on a small canal. It was a true Venetian experience and I will return again and again. Ciao!

Hotel Flora is in a great location, so it's a bit pricey. It's older, but comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Good breakfast, too.

The Flora Hotel is fantastic - the location is great, the room i had was small but was clean and kept. There is a beautiful courtyard where breakfast is served. The waitstaff is very friendly and the breakfast is much better than what i expected from a typical European hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient and quiet location a few blocks from San Marco. Wonderful hotel even in Feb. Staff was helpful and courteous. Don't expect much for the buffet breakfast. Our room, adequate by european standards and for us, had three steps down into the bathroom with a low ceiling which will be fine if not over 5'8". [...]
