We found Hotel Ca Zusto tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Venice in full summer in the midst of tourist season. It was only a short walk from the railway station, and not to far from the Grand Canal. ( which in my opinion is a good thing) Our room was well proportioned and tastefully decorated with a large king size comfortable bed, A/C, TV with private facilities with a view to a garden area. Wifi was also provided. The staff were warm and friendly and were enthusiast in their dealing with guests, they were always available with help and guidance to the many places of interest in Venice. If you are considering visiting Venice, Ca Zusto would be a charming Hotel for your stay
We loved this charming hotel. Unfortunately because of a terrible flight delay we actually only got to enjoy it for about 6 hours! However, the staff were very accommodating and there was absolutely no issue when we needed to check in at 2am. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Suite, and it was very roomy with a good sized bathroom. The suite is very well decorated and we really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was right next to the breakfast lounge but the Wifi was weak. Breakfast was great - a really good buffet selection and friendly service. It can be difficult to find a hotel for one night in Venice, but I would highly recommend this one. We booked directly through the hotel website for the best rate and didn't have any issues.
Quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this quirky sanctuary still provides easy access to all Venice has to offer. We caught the train and walked there on arrival; reception staff happily organised a water taxi for our departure - the taxi was met less than a minute's walk away. The included breakfast was delightful and coffee came to order. There's only wifi in the first floor lounge - but it's probably not a bad thing to have less time online when on holiday! There's a square nearby with restaurants, gelateries and a co-op - it seemed more of a locals' area than a tourist zone - so most tastes should be conveniently catered for when it comes to eating and drinking.
We were in Venice to enjoy our 25th anniversary. The hotel was easy walking distance from the train station and Grand Canal but it was surprisingly quiet. Comfortable beds, quite and dark rooms, and a history that goes back to the 1300s. Andreas was so friendly and helpful and he made us feel welcome from the first moment. Belisimo!
Family of six stayed two nights in August 2017 in this hotel. We arrived by two cars & left them in the Garage San Marco. Then we had to drag our luggage to the hotel through three bridges (without ramps for luggage) for about 20 minutes, which wasn't an easy job... Hotel location is far enough from the Rialto Bridge. Personal is friendly, breakfast is not bad. Wi-Fi works only in common areas.
We stayed at Ca Zusto for 3 night, love our room, very friendly service, include nice breakfast every morning, hot scrambled eggs, bacon, and lots yummy pastry, and fresh fruits. Very easy walk from Grand Canal if coming from Airport in water taxi. 10 minuts walk from Venice train station. We walks to Realto Bridge and St Marco Square every day, love all the shop on the way. Its easy to find the square, just follow the sign : Per St Marco/Realto. Venice is beautiful and stayed at Ca Zusto gave us chance about 30 minuts walk to see and wonder around this beautiful city’s canals and bridge.
Stayed for one night with my husband. It is a beautiful hotel, hidden away but easily accessible and very close to the train station! Took about 15 minutes to walk to Rialto bridge and a further 10 to get to San Marco. We had a deluxe room on the top floor which was very quiet. Huge king size bed, one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. We loved the quirkiness of the decor and the ornate little details added to the rooms. Breakfast in the morning was great, wide selection and lovely coffee. Would definitely recommend!!
This boutique hotel is very well located near the Riva Di Biasio vaporetto stop. The room was opulent and we were upgraded as it was my friend's birthday. The decor was beautiful, the staff incredibly helpful and attentive. Breakfast was a buffet style continental with smoked salmon, meats, cheeses and a variety of pastries. Coffee was excellent. There are a number of great restaurants in the area with such reasonable prices and a cozy atmosphere. Most had outdoor seating and beautiful food. A very heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hotel Ca' Zusto.
We stayed 5 nights and were given an upgrade at checkin. The room was on top, had a marble bathroom and AC. The view over the rooftops of venice is really nice in the morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the service was attentive and fast.
We loved the general ambience, cool interiors and the location which was still very much in the heart of Venice but not too touristy. We had 2 different rooms, each with their own style. The staff were very helpful, we would stay there again.
