We enjoy our stay. There was an issue with the thin walls that created loud noise from the other rooms. But overall the breakfast was excellent. Worth the extra pay for the breakfast. The price was a little high, but it was the cheaper deal we found in the location. It was not central to the sightseeing places, but was a good starting and ending route to walk around. The staff was very friendly. Lots of restaurants at the location.
Great place to stay. Very accommodating. Good location.
nice room. Great location. Free wifi in room. Friendly staff
The room was beautiful! It was semi-centralized and easy to catch the water taxi from the room. Nearby restaurants were great but wished the surrounding shopping stayed open later because we were late getting off excursion to do any.
Checked online for prices, decided to call the hotel and compare- this site was cheaper by almost 50%, which was cool. The hotel itself is located in a very easy place to find, which is perfect for the first time Venice traveller (especially if you are bringing luggage or arriving late). The staff was very competent, spoke many languages, and had good dining advice. My only complaint would be that the bed was two separate mattresses, and I like to snuggle next to my husband.
We were there for two nights, and the locaiton was perfect! A short walk from the bus terminal made a water taxi unnecessary. The room was older (as most are in Venice) but clean and well-provisioned. While we were there, the porcelain soap dispenser broke off the wall. Before lunch, the maid had found it, the fragment was removed, and the wall was re-tiled. This is an example of great service, when stuff goes wrong.
We got a good impression when we walked in to the lobby, but our room and bathroom were outdated and it looked more like a motel then a 4 star hotel. The elevator was carpet and only 2 average size people fit in sideways. The room was a good size and clean but the bathroom needed remodeling, the counter was falling and the walls had mold on them. The breakfast was good, its 5 min walk to the train station and walking distance to all the tourist sites, has lots of stores for shopping and dinning options around the area. Another big disappointment was there was no interenet in the hotel and we could get service from the hotel next door but we had to pay 6 euros for 30 mins. The staff was not very helpful and their english was not that great.
This hotel was located close to the train and bus stations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The room was very comfortable. The walk to St. Mark's Square was enjoyable, or you can take a water bus. The price was very reasonable...What more can you ask for?! Free wi-fi would have been nice.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, good location. Definitely recommended. Close to the train station and bus station and about a half hour walk to the famous San Marco Square.
We choose this hotel because of its location near Piazzale Roma and the train station. The room was comfortable and well kept. There were several nice restaurants nearby and the vaparetto stop was only a couple of blocks away. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Great coffee. If you are going to use the vaparetto, it is easy to get to and from the Piazzale Roma and there is a bus to the airport from there. Our 72 hour vaparetto pass was good on the bus, so it cost us nothing to get to the airport. Much better than the 100 euros for a private water taxi.
Although the rooms were small they were clean and well supplied with slippers, bath products, stationery, etc. The breakfast was very nice, with fresh fruit, a capuccino machine, and other good things. The price was more than we paid anywhere else in Italy, but that's probably because it's in Venice, which was very crowded due to the Biennale.
