Loved the view from the apartment! Wonderful stay and service!
VERY small room. Clean. Comfortable bed. Our rate included breakfast. The host in the dining room was not very friendly. In fact, a bit rude. Acted like we were trying to fool him about our breakfast being included. We told him to call downstairs and check, which he did. And yes, he was told that it was. He didn’t even apologize. Left a bitter taste in our mouths.
Great location, friendly staff and very clean. We stayed at the apartments which are a short walk away from the hotel. The apartment is really big and confortable. It even had a washing machine which was very handy to have.
Close to all restaurants and shops! Cannot access by boat, but only 5 minute walk. Loved it . Breakfasts were amazing !
Luxuriously large, with a great view of the square. Walking distance to everything, but felt more like a home than a tourist hotel.
Beautiful room 161 but watch out ...the hotel is not close to the boats and your only transportation is boat, and you have to carry your suitcases all by yourself at least throught 2 bridges with 20 steps each.
The hotel was in a great location off a plaza and close walk to everything in all directions. Breakfast was fabulous with many selections and the dining room was like a palace. The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. Beautiful hotel with outdoor patio. It was just what you would dream about staying in Venice. We would definitely return.
This hotel is a completely Venetian experience. It exudes the same charm you feel in the city as a whole. The property was formerly the residence of the Austrian ambassador. It retains its Old World charm with all the modern amenities. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. Both the breakfast room and the tea salon (for the complimentary afternoon tea) are beautifully appointed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, even arranging very last minute tickets to a nearby Vivaldi concert for us. The superior room was beautiful, and fairly spacious (by European standards); very clean and well maintained. Take the free WiFi for keeping in touch back home into account, and you have a phenomenal value.
