The staff is very polite had helpful, location is awesome, and they took care of our stay excellently
San Marco is the perfect place to stay. We loved our very elegant quintessential Venetian Hotel. The service was amazing and the room service was delicious.
the hotel is was expecting a little more from Baglioni hotel but overall was good great service great location
This high end hotel meets all its promise. Great staff ready to help and the location could not be better.
We paid $600 a night to stay here and was nothing short of a huge let down. This property is 2 stars- 3 at best! The room was dark, dingy, small, and OLD! I felt like I saw staying in an old persons basement. The staff was nice. Beware of the breakfast. The buffet was awful and $35 per person and the ala carte was nothing short of airplane food. The breakfast area was beautiful but that was it. Save your money or stay somewhere else!
The Baglioni Hotel Luna has outstanding beauty, charm, service, and location. It has a private water landing which allows one to be dropped off right at the door of the hotel if arriving by water taxi. We were shown to our room by one of the check-in staff, and much to our surprise, there was a complimentary bottle of champagne and a lovely note wishing my wife and I a happy anniversary. I had informed them of our anniversary in a note to the hotel, but was still quite surprised with the champagne. The concierge staff, Enrico and Umberto, were very knowledgeable and very helpful. The location can not be beat. The hotel is literally just steps from San Marco Square and the San Marco vaporetto stop, but is a few steps down an alley which allows the hotel to be quiet and not deluged with people. We can not wait to return and stay there again and we will also look into other Baglioni properties when traveling.
Hotel staff was extremely helpful. They even sent a staff member with us to show us a way to purchase exhibit tickets at an official but unadvertised location so that we could avoid an hour long line.
The location of this hotel is excellent and the room was clean and beautiful, however, they have upgraded us to a junior suite room and the location of the room was very noisy. All day and all night long it was too much noise from outside of the hotel at room 258 that we could not really get some rest. It will be great to stay on this place but do away from room 258.
Located right around the corner from Plaza San Marco is convenient, but the size of the room which was only slightly bigger than the queensize bed inside was disappointing. The hotel also missed the mark on the 5-star rating that I can only assume is a self rating. The staff were friendly and very helpful, but the hotel lacked the nicities usually associated with a 5-star hotel. Stay in the monaco around the corner instead.
