As a special treat we spent 3 nights on a British Airways mini break 3 days before Christmas.AND what a treat this was to find Venice with fewer tourists ( even though we swelled the numbers by 4!,) But the light was outstanding showing off the great buildings to perfection YES it was cold but wrapped up and always coffee stops to be had and fewer people made photography a real pleasure BUT around cap it all the Hotel was a real find !!Isually outside our travel budget it was a real treat .A welcome of Prosseco and buscits with nuts and and a warm fire Was followed by visiting our rooms WELL if you have an imagination you could be back in the 1700!! Apart from the great bathrooms and every comfort you need The owner was very helpful as nothing was too much trouble fixing bookings for our favourite Resturant’s ( which would have been fully booked if we had called in our tourist Italian !!)and also gifting us a lovely pot of there special honey from there estates to welcome us back !! The breakfasts too. Ours not be faulted and have now taken top place on my travers list of best breakfasts!! SUPERB and nothing to quibble with WELL DONE on taking my top breakfast spot from all over the world!! Would we go back YES of. Purse and I REALY think we have started a new family Christ tradition!! THANKYOU Ca Maria I will definitely be back to enjoy your wonderful city

We stayed at the Ca Maria Adele for 2 nights in mid-December, our ever first visit to Venice. December turned out to be a great time to visit, as we had been put off previously by stories of the city being overrun by tourists. Whilst there were a few tourist groups during the day, the city was incredibly quiet and atmospheric at night. We loved walking around everywhere and had no trouble getting into recommended bars and restaurants. The location of the Ca Maria Adele hotel itself is superb, on the quieter Dorsoduro, but still only about 20 minutes walk from places like St. Mark’s Square. The hotel itself completely exceeded our expectations. If you like high quality, stylish, non-corporate, boutique hotels, with tons of personality, then it’s hard to find a better place to stay. We stayed in the Moorish room, which was incredibly stylish and opulent. The room has a balcony directly onto the canal, which must be amazing in Spring/Summer. The breakfast choice was superb and delivered to our room, all adding to the overall special experience. All the hotel staff could not have been more helpful, going out of their way to make it into a truly unforgettable visit. Thank you! A special place to stay and a very hard act to follow.

We stayed here for just 3 nights recently and I cannot fault it. This hotel is perfect, from the booking process onwards everything was smooth and easy. The staff are all incredibly helpful and lovely, the hotel itself is stunning, and the attention to detail is impressive without being pretentious. Breakfast is served by a discreet and charming waiter, the reception staff are all extremely courteous and efficient, the rooms have everything you need and are beautifully cleaned each day. The décor is intimate and peaceful and the location is so quiet and perfectly situation on the Dorsoduro. Stay here if you can! It's amazing and reasonable for everything it offers. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We recently stayed at this superb hotel for three nights and absolutely loved it! Ca' Maria Adele is in an excellent location, just across a pretty canal from Santa Maria Salute. The local area is quieter and less crowded than the main Venetian tourist areas and benefits greatly from this. The bars and restaurants are authentic and seemed to be popular with locals as well as tourists. We arrived at the hotel by water taxi and were greeted at the door and shown into a stunning lounge decorated beautifully for Christmas. After complimentary prosecco and biscotti we were shown to our (upgraded) room. The room was beautiful, extremely comfortable, and overlooked the canal and church. All areas of the hotel combine Venetian elegance with a modern stylish edge and have clearly been designed with thought and attention to detail. The staff at Ca'Maria Adele are all absolutely fantastic. They combine total professionalism with warmth and friendliness. Nothing is too much trouble. We met the hotel owner several times and he was always keen to know if we were happy with everything. Breakfasts are wonderful! There is a wide choice of delicious and beautifully presented food. You can choose to eat breakfast in your room or in several other places within the hotel. However, I recommend eating in the Breakfast Room. The room is amazing - very stylish and quirky. It was great to see people's faces when they entered for the first time! It sounds like I have gone over the top in my praise for Ca Maria Adele, but it is such a find and contributed massively to our wonderful Venetian holiday. i can't recommend it highly enough. Huge thanks to all the staff for looking after us so well. We will definitely be back.

A superb find. All the luxury of a high end hotel but with a very intimate feel to it. We went our whole stay barely seeing any other guests despite the hotel being full. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The location is pleasantly quiet but only seconds from the boat stop and several galleries. We will definitely return!

My husband booked this as a surprise for our final night in Venice and our wedding anniversary. I say ‘surprise’ because he chose one of the Mr & Mrs Smith guide recommendations that I know inside out and practically pushed upon him…. exceptionally good choice!! Less than 50m from the Salute vaporetto stop but also with their own side door launch which we took advantage of on leaving for airport , this beautiful and sumptuous boutique hotel sits in the imposing shadow of the incredible Salute cathedral at the foot of the Grand Canal, and wonderfully situated for central Venice, Peggy Guggenheim and the Acadamia area. I was grinning ear to ear when we entered. Such a beautiful rich spicy scent coming from their candles when accompanied through to their intimate and stylishly luxe drawing room for a complimentary welcome Spritz. Staff were naturally attentive. I believe we were staying in one of the standard rooms but it was not to disappoint. A suite by any other hotel standards, we were shown through our sitting room to the dressing room(s), a king size (Egyptian cotton clad) bedroom, and bathroom. All lined in golden Venetian silks. It was not a palazzo style room with chandelier but so comfortable, old beamed ceilings, 2 TVs (if needed), full of incredible products, complimentary bottle of wine from our Mr & Mrs Smith booking, and big soft robes I didn't want to take off! Room service was delicious, unobtrusive, reasonable and quick. Breakfast is á la carte so you are welcome to make the exciting food decisions the night before for either dining-room or in room/bed breakfasts. You wouldn't wish for anything else during your stay here. We had more deliciously made spritz while waiting for our taxi boat to the airport. The hotel is ideally situated for some of the more local restaurants up past the Acadamia which we always thoroughly enjoy. We are regular Venice visitors but (I am assured as I'm not supposed to check price) that it was completely wonderful value for money (although we'd not have been surprised to pay more with the exceptional standard that is often hard to find in Venice) and we will definitely be staying here again soon!!! They do also host the official most ‘sexiest bedroom on n the world’ also which may have to be on the cards if available….I saw those strawberries heading on up there… Thank you for the most luxurious of last nights…if we didn't have things to finish seeing things you'd have had to carry me out!!!

We stayed in a beautiful third floor suite overlooking the canal and Maria Della Salute. The location offers access to Guidecca where we had a meeting. Comfortable room, amazing breakfast, and most helpful staff. Love this quieter section of Venice.

Recommended this hotel and after reading reviews ww were looking forward. I have scored as follows Service Excellent Room upgraded to a de lux room- poor soundproofing could hear toilet above, bed hard, poor sleep quality Food Excellent Breakfast- poor choice and beverages almost cold Location- not good if you prefer walking, ok if your happy to use boot taxi Evening too far from any buz, only a few local places and all close early.

So much charm in the beautiful details and service at this luxury boutique hotel in the Dorsoduro section of Venice...next to La Salute and a stone's throw from The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Punta della Dogana, good restaurants and many great artisan shops. I love this artful and more residential neighborhood. There are several themed rooms offered at Ca' Maria Adele, each one unique, each one gorgeous. You'll pay a bit more for these, but they're wonderful! One visit to this lovely hotel is not enough!

A unique place in Venice! Let yourself fall into an exchanted place where time seems to have stopped, a place where you would imagine to bump into Casanova ... Its exquisite elegance, the rich and bold colours of its interiors, will help you forget the hustle and bustle of Venice!
