We were highly recommended this by our Tour Operator, Long Travel, and our daughter who spent two nights on honeymoon here last year! Having just savoured four days we can see why! The hotel is fabulously situated just off the Grand Canal next to Santa Maria Della Salute opposite St Marks. Our water taxi from the airport took us to the front door and we had a very warm greeting. Indeed the front desk staff were fantastic throughout and booked restaurants for us every night, mainly on their recommendations. We stayed in Palazzio 113 which comprises of two rooms / small suites next door to the main hotel. There are only 20 rooms in total so it is very much boutique and very special. Our room comprised of a lovely king sized bed plus armchairs, mirror / TV and a good sized en suite. The hotel toiletries were very nice too and our towels were replaced after each use. Breakfast was excellent. The omelettes were very good and with cereals, fruit and yoghurt and rolls it gave us a great start to the day. The breakfast is ordered the night before by leaving a card outside your door. The hotel exudes a certain luxury but at the same time is exceedingly welcoming creating a very warm atmosphere. I have great pleasure in recommending this hotel for the quality and romance - it was ideal for our wedding anniversary stay! Thank you guys!
I must have taught my boyfriend well as he booked this wonderful boutique hotel for my birthday this year! From the moment we arrived we were treated to a delicious mint flavoured water and a personal welcome from the owner. Everything is so well thought out, the decor is exquisite and the staff are so helpful. I particularly loved the full range of toiletries, including lip balm and the location was perfect for getting around whilst still being far enough away to not feel too touristy. The breakfast had everything you needed and whilst you can have the breakfast in your room for now extra cost, if you like to eat at a proper table I can thoroughly recommend the breakfast room, which we only found on our last day. Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely stay.
Wonderful Place, Very Nice Staff, Super Location. Modern, Intimist, Cozy, Cool Place, Very Exclusive For Exigent People! I Would Have Loved To Stay There, But Got To Know It Wondering Around The City And There Were No Free Rooms. So If You Plan To Go There, You Must Book In Advance!
Where do I start?! This hotel is out of this world, an experience you'll never forget. The rooms, the setting, the service, the staff & being greeted by the owner on arrival- this experience has truly surpassed our expectations- best hotel we've ever stayed at- oh & amazingly comfortable king size bed!!! Highly recommend for a wonderful stay in Venice- also in the nicest part. Thankyou Ca Marie Adele for our wonderful stay!
Three nights in Venice at the Ca' Marie Adele - truly outstanding boutique hotel in the Dorsoduro district of Venice. If you're not familiar with Venice, this is important because it's removed from the excessive crowds and noise of San Marco. Quiet in the evenings, not overly crowded in the daytime and an easy 8-10 minute walk from the Accademia Bridge. It's a beautiful boutique hotel. Large comfortable rooms, big bathrooms, a quiet spacious breakfast room, plus cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful all guys at the front desk were with directions, advice, restaurant recommendations and reservations, arranging airport transfers, etc.
Fabulous room and service. Lunch on the terrace was better than most of the restaurants. Special shout out to Flavio who made us feel very welcome. Planning our return. For these reasons, I am rating it the best hotel I have ever been too.
We got married in the UK and travelled straight to Venice and we stayed in the perfect hotel and the perfect room (Sala Del Doge) for our wedding night. The service was great also. Only reservation is the price of the transfers - 5 mins online can get a booking from the airport to the hotel mooring for around 100Euro saving compared with the price on offer by the hotel. Exceptional hotel (and I've have stayed in a lot of the best)
From the moment we walked in the service was truly impeccable, and genuinely authentic. This boutique hotel was in such a great location. The decor was refined and elegant, with touch of eclectic. Gorgeous rooms, and an excellent bathroom with a great soaker tub. A fantastic breakfast which was served wherever you pleased. We chose the terrace on the roof and it was lovely. The location is great, being just off the water tucked away, but close enough to walk off the beaten path or to the busier viewing points of the city. Any time we left our room, it was refreshed immediately. Beds were made, towels replaced. (They even folded our clothes and made our charging cords look neat.) They truly give attention to details and nothing went unnoticed. It made our stay so enjoyable we want to come back just to stay there again! This is a quaint and lovely hotel, I can't recommend it enough.
On arrival, we were warmly greeted, then given prosecco and biscotti with whipped cream in the sitting room before being shown to our lovely room. The fittings and fixtures were top-notch and we especially liked that we could sit comfortably on the shared terrace in the sunshine with drinks. Breakfast was also fantastic with a brilliant range of options to choose from, served by very smartly dressed and attentive staff. The receptionist gave us a few restaurant tips and happily booked a table for us. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place as a romantic (and in no way cheesy) Venetian choice for couples.
My husband booked this hotel as a surprise for me to celebrate our 10th anniversary. This is a boutique hotel (not suitable for families with children) and it is very small. It appears bigger on the website photos. Breakfast was amazing and a wide spread is available but there is no kitchen facilities to serve snacks or dinner. Also be aware of the stairs - it is very narrow and quite steep with low ceilings. My husband knocked his head a few times going up the stairs. Also, it is not very welcoming if you had a long day of walking and you still have to climb the stairs to the top floor to your room. The hotel location is central and opposite the Basilica - good location and easy to walk around. Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay and one of the owners introduced himself and welcomed us on arrival. A refreshingly cold drink is served on arrival. The highlight for me was the chocolate mousse cake that my husband ordered to be delivered to our room on arrival as part of the celebration surprise. It was the most decadent and melt-in-the-mouth cake I've ever eaten. We will stay again at Ca' Maria Adele.
