Palazzo Lezze - XVII century - Romantic apartment in Venice

Romantic and welcoming apartment, recently renovated, in a 17th-century building, located in the heart of the city's most characteristic neighborhood (Cannaregio).

In a very quiet and well-served location, with numerous traditional restaurants, bars, and shops.

Comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need (WiFi, A/C, TV, etc.), it comprises:
- Spacious double bedroom
- Large living room with a comfortable double sofa bed
- Large, well-equipped and recently renovated kitchen
- Comfortable bathroom.

The apartment has independent heating, a ceiling fan in the bedroom and A/C in the livingroom.

IMPORTANT: Italian law regulates:
- use of heating from October 15th to April 15th at a maximum temperature of 20°+2°C;
- use of A/C minimum internal temperature of the room cannot fall below 24°C and cannot be turned on if the external temperature is below 26°C.

Check-in times must be arranged in advance.
IMPORTANT: Upon arrival, please pay in cash the Tourist Tax (€4/night per person) and the €50 cleaning fee (not included in the apartment price).

During your stay, you can easily contact us for any needs you may have (we live upstairs in the same building).

It’s hard to put into words how beautiful it was to wake up every morning in this apartment to views of the water, boats, and the gorgeous buildings across the water. The most charming thing about laying in bed, admiring the view of the buildings, is seeing so many people stopping in front of the apartment windows to take photos of exactly what we are admiring. Filippo and his wife were amazing hosts! They provided everything my wife, myself, and our two energetic, restless boys needed. Fully stocked, clean kitchen, and a great Coop nearby to get whatever you need to cook your own meals. Or if you want to dine out and about, so many great options nearby for just a very short walk. We adored this Misericordia area within the Cannaregio sestiere. Way fewer tourists than the rest of Venice. I actually feel bad giving this secret away about this place and the area. I hope it stays this peaceful in the future.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Venice. It is located on a street with good wine bars and restaurants, has a well equipped kitchen to cook from the amazing ingredients that can be found in Venice, and has a nice local neighborhood vibe. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

The apartment was in a beautiful old building with amazing architecture right off one of the main canals. What a great location in Venice, so close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions and away from the tourist areas, but close enough to walk to all the sites. The host are very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. Just wish it was a longer stay.

This unit's location is perfect. Close to great restaurants and right on one of the canals with out being in the busiest (and noisiest) areas. Air conditioning was helpful on the warmer days and let us sleep well at night. Communication with owner and check in process was easy and straightforward.

Overall, the experience was good. The host responded quickly and was helpful. Check-in was flexible and easy. The property is great for families — the kitchen is very functional and had almost everything we needed.For future travelers: we had some trouble with the location on Google Maps when entering the address. The host ended up sending us a pin instead, which worked fine. The internet speed was good once connected; however, you may need to restart the router in the morning. Otherwise, there might be no connection or an error saying the password is incorrect — a simple fix.Restaurant options in the neighborhood is good, we actually preferred them over the ones in busy city center.Please note: it's about a 20–25 minute walk from the train station, which can be quite challenging with luggage and kids, especially in hot weather.

At home in Venice!

Our stay in Venice superseded our expectations. The location was perfect, close to the train station, but far enough to give you the neighborhood feeling of living among the locals with shops and restaurants all around, but removed from the main bustling tourist main streets. All the major sites are walkable or a beautiful boat ride away. The apartment itself was splendid. Large with a very well equipped kitchen, nice living room and comfortable bedroom. We absolutely loved staying there and our host was very informative and provided us with all the information we needed when we arrived and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone. Grazie!

Great Location in Venice

We stayed at Palazzo Lezze for 5 nights in May, 2025. Filipino met us when we checked in and showed us around the apartment. He was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well furnished.The location is great: right on a canal and in a vibrant neighborhood. Every night, we strolled along the fondamenta and picked from numerous restaurants and bars. We enjoyed that the patrons were mainly locals. The apartment is easy walking distance to markets, ATMs, and many restaurants. It is also convenient to the vaporetto stop fondamenta de nova, with boats to Murano, the airport, the railway station, and the grand canal.Highly recommended! We would stay here again gladly!

Property was in an excellent location. Close to neighborhood restaurants/bars. Easy walking distance to grocery stores, shops and Vaporetto stops. Close enough to have access to the major tourist attractions, but far enough to be out of the heavy tourist traffic areas.Kitchen was well equipped for an extended stay. Since we were there in cool weather, heat was important and it was always toasty warm in spite of being so close to the water.

We had a wonderful stay in this property during Carnevale. Location is excellent, close to all of Venice's main attractions, yet the apartment is on a quiet waterfront street without much noise. Spacious and clean, with a well stocked kitchen. Supermarket, cafes and shops are conveniently just around the corner. Filippo is a very kind and helpful host. Thank you for everything!

Lovely Place

Filipo and Silvia have designed a lovely and very comfortable apartment located right by the canal. They are very responsive hosts and make themselves available. There are very good locally frequented restaurants nearby. The area is perfect - a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist center but close enough to get everywhere. We highly recommend for a stay in this most romantic city.

Great location

You are walking distance to just about everything including good restaurants. The apartment is located on the first floor and it can get a little loud on the weekends because a lot of people are walking by but that didn’t bother us. There was WiFi but our devices would not connect stating low security as the reason. The hot and cold water in the shower is tricky to figure out and changes while showering so be careful with young children. Overall it fit our needs and the location is what we were paying for so it was good for two adults that were only there to sleep.

Great host, perfect location

The apartment is on the first floor facing one of the canals in Cannaregio. Great location, with lots of neighborhood places to eat and enjoy but away from the busiest crowds of tourists. Supermarket, vaporetto stop at Ca D’Or, places to shop, restaurants all within a couple minutes. Clean, quiet, well-stocked apartment with secure entry.
