The Staff was helpful but not friendly, we only stayed one night is close to everything easy access to the water buses. If you travel with family & a lot of luggage then it would be extremely difficult to carry luggage across all the stairs.

Excellent location, clean and cosy room, helpful staff. There is no lift at the hotel, but we knew this in advance. The breakfast was rich, with hot buffet, which is not very common in Italy. I recommend!

Location of hotel is very good, it;s right on the grand canal. Near to Rialto bus stop, you just have to cross the bridge and hotel is there. If you have some luggage then only a bit difficult to cross bridge as there are a lot of stairs. The room is average old fashioned. Bathroom is also a bit small. There is no elevator in hotel and i guess all hotels located nearby has no elevators as these are old buildings and seems renovation is difficult. Breakfast is nice. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Staff is nice and helpful. They can help you for a trip to Murano and Burano. Gondola services are also available in front of hotel. Water (bus) stations for railway station and airport are also on opposite and nearby.

My 2nd visit to Venice and stayed here both times. Good location by Rialto bridge and easy access from the water buses. Staff friendly and rooms good for a base with all the facilities, lots of places to eat nearby. When in Venice will stay again and book directly.

To start with the positives. The hotels location is excellent. You are staying right on the rialto bridge among the hustle and bustle of grand canal. Also, the amount you pay for this location is very competitive compared to other hotels nearby. The negatives, in terms of the hotel rooms itself, i found it to be very tight and not user friendly. Bedding and pillows very average and needs to be renewed. Breakfast had very little options and started a bit later than i hoped. My biggest problem with this hotel was the employees. I found them to be extremely rude and unhelpful. Venice can be very hard to get around at the best of times and after coming across 5 different workers at the front desk over 3 days, i found 4 to be very abrupt, rude and not helpful at all. Also, as an early riser, i generally like to get out and about early on and have a coffee with some peace and quiet and on all 3 mornings i found the night shift concierge worker to be sleeping on the couch in the foyer between 6.30-7am which i thought was very unprofessional. Also on one occasion, one of the guys grabbed his pillow and blanket and was heading upstairs and told me that the key to the front door was on the door and to unlock and let myself out. Overall, the only thing this hotel has going for it is that it is in an amazing location but it's not the only hotel on the grand canal so i would probably pay a little extra and stay in a hotel which is run professionally and not by clowns like this one

The textile, as well as the carpets in the room were already old in 70-s, need to be replaced then. The were somebody's short curly hair in the toilet on the floor. Lots of insects. No light in the room - the windows are to the narrow lane. Room on the ground floor has lattice. Kitchen staff on the next door restaurant smoke and speak loudly. Smell in the room, smell in the dining area- didn't eat the breakfast and went to a cafe on the square. The breakfast is poor with cheap products. The staff is not nice and not responsive. All the answers are as "I don't know, I just work here" Want to spoil the impression of a city do not hesitate to book a room there.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel, especially if you are fortunate enough to get a balcony overlooking the river and the Rialto Bridge. The hotel was clean and the style of the hotel was great but the staff were far from friendly and helpful which was a shame

The room key chain was so heavy. It was heavier than our phones and was pain to carry with us where ever we go. The Rooms are pretty small, we stayed in room 501. There was not lift to our room and we have to literally walk a lot to go out from the hotel. Room's windows were opening to a street. We noticed direct noise coming to our room at nights and notices people leaving their drink glasses at the window near our room. So we never opened the curtains or the window. The wifi was working pretty cool. The room service and staff were very nice. Limited options in breakfast for vegetarian people. There were flavored curd, packed toasts, fruits and breads. Room intercom Phone wast working. We complained but it wasn't fixed. anyway we did not need it. There was no charging point for phones, so we had to remove the TV plug and insert our phone plugs for charging. The location of the hotel is at a perfect place, just near to the Realto bridge which was very helpful. There are some finest restaurants around this hotel. One , just you walk out the door and you see it. The reception people were very nice and helped us book the Trip To Murano and Burano. The local vegetable market is just few minutes away if you walk. Overall its good..

Location of hotel is great. Along the side of the Grand Canal and alongside the Rialto Bridge. Hotel is very dated and some rooms appear to be in need of an update. (Ours) We had a room on ground floor but had to go upstairs along a long corridor and then downstairs through the breakfast room and round the corner to our room ?? Breakfast is adequate, hot and cold choices, pastries, cereal etc... Room & bathroom very clean but in need of an update. Was a very dark & cold room. Hard pillows, bed not very comfortable, but clean bedding. But, in saying this I would stay again as location along the canal with all the restaurants minutes away is ideal.

Actually we liked everything in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room had an amazing view (if you have a room wih Canale Grande view). Bed was comfortable and the breackfast very good. The rooms are small but the location is perfect.
