Staff were very kind and helpful and the room was clean with a comfortable bed, a stocked fridge and toiletries. There was a beautiful terrace overlooking the Great Canal where they served great food. I highly recommend this hotel and will add it to my itinerary on my next visit.

Beautiful hotel. Hotel staff are excellent and so friendly. They were geat arranging transportation for us from and to the airport. Hotel location is excellent; ferry right next to hotel and restaurants and Ice Cream shops just a few minutes walk. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for first time visitors.

A friend recommended the Dorsoduro neighborhood for its easy-going vibe and wealth of cultural sites. I found Hotel Palazzo Stern in my own, and what a gem!! Beautiful in every historic detail. Comfortable, clean, welcoming, perfectly situated for convenience and charm. If I had known, I would have booked a longer stay. Next time!

The location was great. The only part of the hotel we saw was our room and the entry area. Our room was 2 stories with a loft bed up 2 flights and bathroom and sitting area downstairs. This made us climb downstairs in the middle of the night to use the restroom. This was not described when I chose that room and there were no other options available. The staff were not overly friendly either. The location was ideal though

The location is ideal! A short walk to San Marco but far enough away to feel removed from the large crowds. A water bus stop next to the hotel is very convenient! The bar and restaurant manager, Matteo, makes a fantastic Negroni. Will certainly stay there again!
