Very good hotel. We went in November the weather was pleasant ,hotel is very close to the beach so tourists who will visit during summer month will be definitely happy ! Friendly ,helpful staff nothing to complain about it.
Kudos to Morgan and TJ...they were awesome! Came with a friend, they took great care of us...would recommend it!!! Danielle gave us a great package for New Years Eve! I would highly recommend this little local gem.
Visited at the end of the Summer season in 2017. Hotel is in a reasonable location, with good access to the beach but it is a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Lido. The derelict building to the side of the hotel is unsightly. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was of a good size with a comfortable bed and clean. Bathroom facilities were good. Would have been nice to see some free bottled water in the room though. The hotel breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Didn’t eat in the hotel in the evening as it seemed expensive compared with the restaurants in the centre of Lido.
By the beach! Nice to stay at Lido when visiting Venezia, especially in the hot Summer. NIce but a bit old rooms, balcony ! Nice variety breakfast. Good value for money. Would have chosen the hotel again!
I did stayed at this place at the beginning of Nov 2017. My husband booked as a surprise for my birthday and I was very please with it. He booked by loveholidays.com He did booked an Economy double room with balcony as it was offered from the above website provider but once we got there to the check in desk, that room was convert into a 1x double basic room, that was a very small, dark, dingy room with a window to the back car park. It was not even in the main building, was on the side and looked more like a small staff room. We refused to check in until we got the room my husband did paid for....we were offer another room, must not balcony. Finally after 3 hours of calls to the Iberian peninsula numbers, that are the lines provided in case of....and the UK provider to complain (phone calls that I am expecting the bill for). We got offer a better room with a small balcony. The staff at the Iberian peninsula was cooperative but did not offer a solution and once we contacted the loveholidays.com line; the Customer Service agent (Josh) was telling that we were incorrect as my husband did not booked that room with balcony even when we had the printed proof on paper right on front of us. He was also very dismissive as when talking to me as I have got an accent but took the matter seriously only until my husband with a British accent stop him from playing us around and twisting our booking by saying that both are they same room, when they are totally different even just looking at the wording used to describe them on the website and papper. The hotel is nice, spaceous and clean, the staff was kind and was trying to be accomodating but it could improve the rating if they assure with the other parties that they provide what is offered and stop blaming each other for the misleading and internal communication issues they may have. No customer wants to stay 3 hours at a lobby area calling numbers in the Iberian peninsula without results whilst watching other guests walk straight into their rooms without any inconvenience. It was not a good start for the holiday.
Stayed here for four nights for work due to a conference at the nearby center. The staff is quite friendly albeit a little bit slow at providing service. But they are very knowledgeable and generally helpful if you talk to them. Location is decent. It is facing the beach and about 15 minutes from the water taxi station. You can go out for a morning walk or run along the promenade right from the doorstep. The reason for three stars are: - the hotel has definitely seen better days. The carpets are extremely well worn, especially inside the rooms. - If you look underneath the bed you'll be horrified to find tons of dust balls and other things as if it hasn't been cleaned in months. - My colleagues had an issue of not getting warm water on the fourth floor. - the quality of the pillows and beddings. The room heating wasn't turning on and cooling is very noisy. - Some colleagues were given an upgrade with the Seaview but I got a view of the side alley. - I am always confused by what peer to be lavish hotels but then have tiny bars of soap and mystery liquid for shower and soap The restaurant serves a decent breakfast though it got monotonous after four days. They should perhaps have an option of ordering fresh eggs since they're scrambled eggs really do get a bit stiff. But the quality is generally decent. I'm always surprised by the 2 Euro cover charge on the restaurant bills in Venice but I can't hold it against them if it seems to be the rule of the land.
Only here for 4 night break in September was not warm enough to stay on the beach to sunbathe, It's was nice to take a peaceful long walk along the waters edge, the bus stop right outside the hotel was a bonus. Clean and friendly and food was nice. Would have liked to have an English channel on the TV. And refreshments of tea and coffee in the room. cycling was good!
We stayed here 29th September to 1st October. Landed at 11, at the hotel by half 12, room was ready and we was upgraded to a suite on the 5th floor! (There's only a lift to the 4th floor and then had to walk up some stairs to the 5th. May want to bare this in mind if looking at a suite as could be hard work to walk up the stairs a few times a day for those not so good on their feet.) Hotel location is great, right across the road from the quieter end of the beach, however when we went it was a little chilly so did not spend any time on the beach, apart from a stroll along one evening. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel which will take you into the centre of the lido were the boats run very frequently over into Venice itself. Might be worth getting the bus and boat combined ticket like we did, this way we could get on any boat and any bus using the one ticket for the 3 days of our stay. Hotel was very clean and lovely. Breakfast basic - coffee, juice, pastries, cereal. No hot food options, very continental. You could pay for an egg if you wanted one making, but again an extra cost. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself is not very big so getting a table for breakfast or dinner time was no problem. Area was a little strange as to the left of the hotel there isn't much, but to the right the walk is lovely and the area is very flat! It was around a 15 min walk from the lido boat terminal to the hotel, but I would recommend getting the 'A' bus as this is much quicker and you can see the area if this is your first time visiting. We were two young girls (23 and 19) and we felt safe in this hotel and the surrounding area. We would come back, just when it was a little warmer so we could spend some time on the beach.
We have stayed in this hotel only for 1 night. The breakfast was good, there was lots food to choose from and the hotel is right on the front of beach. The shame was they are closing a beach on the 10th of September so we had to go round to get free entrance to the beach as we have stayed in there on 16th. The hotel is only about 10-15 mins walk to the closest water buses and taxi and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Hope we will come again for a proper long holiday in here as this time we have stayed only 1 night in more hotels around Venice.
Just spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel , it's in a great position across the road from the beach . The rooms are nice and clean and adequately furnished , we had a room overlooking the ocean with a balcony . The breakfast has all that you could need . The staff were friendly and very helpful when I asked them any information . It is just a short walk to the many bars and restaurants . It is a nice 10 min walk from the boat stop . There is a bus stop outside .
