Hotel was old and quaint. Very nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.
Overall a good hotel and excellent location in Venice. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the policy of holding your key while you’re out was interesting. The breakfast was quite good and provided most of what you would expect from a continental breakfast with a few warm items. There were numerous downsides that degraded our rating, however. First, the WiFi connectivity was very poor in our 3rd floor room and was near unusable. Second, the “queen bed” that we booked was actually two twin beds pushed together - not what we wanted nor paid for. Third, the AC didn’t seem to work in our room and we were left with the choice of dealing with a humid room or opening our window and allowing mosquitoes in with the cool air. We still had a nice stay in Venice, but this hotel wasn’t a highlight.
The hotel has a fantastic location, you're 1 minute from a major water bus stop, 5 minutes to St. Mark's Square and 10 minutes to the Rialto bridge. Staff was friendly and the room was nicely appointed. Not much to say for the view or anything like that, but we would stay there again.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise among the chaos of Venice. Warm reception at check in, courteous assistance to the room and helpful dining advice. They gave us good directions to the water taxi. Location was very good, close to the water and just a few meters from the water taxi. Breakfast was hurried because of our schedule, but excellent. Top notch quality selections and friendly service. We have been to Venice several times and this hotel was the most memorable. We will DEFINITELY make a point to stay at the Bisanzio on our next visit to Venice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Do yourself a huge favor and seek out this hotel. 10 of 10 stars
Great location and wonderful staff! Rooms need a bit of an upgrade but for a family room it was very nice. Bathrooms were very clean and being able to open the windows were nice.
Great location, very polite staff, clean, priced reasonably. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to others.
We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Bisanzio. The location was right near a vaporetto stop, so easily accessible. It was also near some of the major sites. The hotel itself was clean, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke English which was a plus since we don't speak any Italian. The rooms were small, but quaint and comfortable and the included breakfast was a plus.
