This place looks nice on line but it’s a whole nother story when you arrive. The lobby was cluttered and dirty not to mention Arabella and David should not be running a hotel and hostel maybe but not a hotel they were just don’t care about their customers it’s obvious just from there deminor. Then we checked in to our and about five steps in my wife and I looked at each other and we could read each other’s expression which was there is now way we staying here for 4 nights. We toured the room and checked everything out maybe it wouldn’t be so bad but it was. The Air conditioning was a window unit in the bed room which was okay the the rest of the A/C consisted of a rolling unit that you had to run the exhaust vent out the window yourself and two table top fans that had had so much dust and sander stuck to blades and fan housing you didn’t want to turn them on then there were the two stained couches we only sat on one of them but only after taking a clean sheet out of the closet to cover it, the light switches in hall and bathroom had muddy hand prints all over them not to mention the mold in the shower then we moved on to the Kitchen where we found mold in the edges of the microwave and mold and food stuck to the gaskets on the refrigerator and the dinning room chairs were dirty and stained just like the couches so we figured maybe we will just sit on the patio nope could do that either obviously the maid never steps outside you have to clean off all the cobwebs first

The hotel was perfect for our party of 5. It was a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 hide away beds in the living room. A completely furnished kitchen came in very handy.

It was a one day trip with my wife and 4 kids. We felt like home in the suit. Kids called it our second home. Staff were very helpful.

Free clean shuttle. Friendly staff. Restaurants on site. Close to airport. Assistance in sightseeing. Larry Calif.

Parking is difficult to understand; staff not particularly pleasant; mgr was helpful as 3 of 4 room keys did not work second day!

Should be noted it's in the gay part of town but it's fine. A little hilly on the way back to the hotel from the water!

kitchin, living room, bedroom, and bathroom are all nice and clean. hotel staff are kind.

Hotel staff had great recommendations for sites, activites and restaurants. Highly recommend biking in Stanley Park, visiting Granville Island and the Vancouver overlook. The Anthropology Museum on the University of BC campus is excellent.

Great location, spacious, friendly staff! I would definitely stay here again.

Settled in a fully-stocked one bedroom apartment, I slept like a log. There's no pretense here, just a nice place for single travelers, families, and everyone else. Good internet at no extra charge. Excellent value.

One of the best budget hotel I've experienced. Excellent value. Parking is tricky but that's nitpicking.

This was a honeymoon / birthday get away for me and my wife. Staff was very helpful and friendly -- 1st time visiting Vancouver and they provided us with a lot of ideas and recommendations. Room did not have an amazing view, however, the room was spacious and very comfortable let in a lot of light. Location is in a residential area, but just one block off of a main through way with a few fun clubs (gay friendly neighborhood!) and restaurants. Loved just walking around the neighborhood.

I was there for business. I had a spacious suite with a full kitchen. It was a very pleasant retreat at the end of the day.

If you want more than a simple hotel room Sunset Inn is a great choice. Our room was a small apartment completely equipped and combined with the friendly service and good location it felt more like a home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a fabulous find! Staff were great, room was amazing! Close to down town and they let us park our car there for the day while we explored and shopped. Will definitely stay here again!

Hotel location was close to everything. Staff was fantastic

This is a gem of a hotel in Vancouver. Greeted at check-in by a very kind attendant named Brad, all of the others were great as well. I had a standard suite which had a balcony that looked out south, nice. The suite was perfect for me, having a work space separate from the bedroom is something I wish I could always afford, only here is that possible! The main draws for me was the suite-style and the free, secure parking (I didn't think it was so tight as others say- I was expecting something really difficult to maneuver around but I had no problem at all), and the free breakfast. The breakfast isn't much to write about, but does the job. The only minor gripes I have are that the bathroom sink drained way too slowly (I should have brought it to their attention but simply never remembered to, a little drain-o would do the trick) and that I was kept awake by thumping music from a loud dance-club which plays until 3AM, even on Sunday. I was tempted to not write this review in an attempt to keep it a secret, but they have such a good establishment that I believe they deserve all the business they can get. I will stay there on my next trip to Vancouver.

Spacious suite ,very helpful staff , quaint neigborhood with lots of dining choices.within walking distance, easy access to pick and drop tour bus.

Our suite was spacious and very clean and comfortable!! The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!!
