We stayed in this hotel for 1 night & would recommend it for it's convenient location in Granville

Pleasant, helpful staff including in-house restaurant

Hotel was easy to get to. Parking was a little tight but was underground which was good. Feont staff were excellent' quick check in. Restaurant in lobby was good and reasonable. Room was more than excellent. Large screen tv, frig, microwave, coffee, bed was more than comfortable. Clean....only downfall was had no tub. But shower was large and worked fine. But missed a tub. Room had king size bed with a balcony which was nice not the greatest view, and one night very loud on street even though we were on the 14h floor. Very good walking distance to be able to get out and around. A must see is take the hop on hop off bus, got to see city and tour guide was excellent. Will definatly stay here again. Thanks for a great holiday

The hotel is centrally located within the city, but there are several adult (XXX) establishments nearby. One elevator was not operational, and the shower head in our room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom. I chose this hotel because the room could accommodate our family of 5 comfortably, and it did. The suite was very spacious.

More than expected. Staffs were very kind and helpful, rooms were nice and clean. Located at the center of the city.

Our family with 3 kids as well as the grandparents had a nice pre-cruise one night stay at the hotel. We booked the one bedroom suites which were perfect with kids, as the kids could sleep on the sofa bed in the separate living room. The hotel is very well located within easy walking distance of many restaurants and bars, and even a very nice playground for the kids! Parking was very easy with a convenient elevator. Our only complaint was that the hotel does attract party boys given its low cost and central location, so there were a lot of partiers in the hotel. And the doors are quite thin so you do hear everyone walking down the hall whooping it up.

stayed with family, hotel took good care. close to many things downtown, buses very easy and close. tours were right in front of the hotel.

I like this place..a lot of people feel it's past its prime, which I suppose I'd true to a point, but the rioms are huge and friendly staff..goid value for the money

the location and actual room was very nice. right there at the end of Granville. the room was really spacious and clean. went up there for a bachelor party. the staff was nice except for some old guy working the front. total jerk.

Within easy reach of sky train from airport; easy walking distance to most downtown locations.

This hotel is located in downtown Vancouver. It is an old hotel but it suited our needs. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. We were able to walk to most of our destinations from the hotel and also enjoyed delicious food within walking distance.

Drove up from Oregon for a long weekend in beautiful Vancouver, BC. The 2 double bed suite was very comfortable. We had a balcony with great views of the city. Room was very clean. Staff very nice. Hallway decor was a bit outdated but clean. I didnt get to check out the fitness center.Hotel's location was great. I would stay here again.

Great hotel, welcoming staff and generous suites. We couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations and parking at the hotel. The hotel's restaurant was very good. Location is in the entertainment district that has seen it's heyday. Easy walking distance to the shopping district downtown. We will stay here again when visiting Vancouver.

The hotel is in a central location with lots of good restaurants nearby and walking distance to the train station. The staff are helpful and polite.

Came to Vancouver for a stag party and this was a perfect spot to stay. Felt like it wasn't too far from anything in the city. Staff was great, room was clean and spacious.

I stay one night at this nice Hotel, the room was very clean and exceed my expectations in size, it was very comfortable. I will go back here if I need to come back to Vancouver again.

This hotel is very conveniently located right on Granville St, a short walk from Robson St and all the downtown shopping. It's also a short walk away from the Yaletown skytrain, making it easy to get to Richmond and the airport. The outside of the hotel doesn't look like much, but the inside is nicely renovated. Not the fanciest place by any means, but for the price and location, we were very happy with it! And would stay here again.

close to yaletown, granville island and tram stops. able to chill out or party.

This hotel is very a very nice place to stay in Vancouver on a budget. There's nothing spectacular about the place but if you're looking for a clean place to stay downtown Vancouver, this is it. The parking is about $18 extra per night, which is reasonable since Vancouver has pretty expensive parking anyway. The room was clean. NOTE: we were staying in the Courtyard, that is in a separate building behind the hotel, but is a little cheaper.

The bed was comfy, I'll give it that. Sadly, I stayed in the courtyard, which is behind the hotel, across an alley frequented by the homeless and certainly not secure. There is also a strong smell of bleach as you walk by where I presume the laundry is. My room was right next to the ice machine, which clanked all night long, and my room was freezing. There was a radiator, but I couldn't find any way to turn it on. It's cheap, compared to the rest of Vancouver, but there was a definite roughing it aspect.

Dear Beth, Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at the Best Western Plus Chateau Granville Hotel & Suites & Conference Centre. We are delighted to hear that you found the suites to be spacious for you and your family. Being in the heart of downtown there is a certain level of urban activity that takes place. However, we are commended for our ideal location within walking distance to many of the cities’ attractions, shopping, restaurants and public transportation. Due to an unexpected repair, we do have one of our elevators out of service. We have tried our best to offer assistance to all our guests to call the front desk to escort our guests down if they are experiencing longer wait times. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused and we are working on correcting this issue. We appreciate you taking the time to write to us about your experience. Thank you for choosing our hotel and we hope to see you on your next stay. Best regards, Anastasios Theodoropoulos General Manager
