view of shibuya scramble matchless! very convenient that airport limousine was just at the back of hotel entrance- level 5. staff spoke english and very pleasant to deal with. However, the lift to front entrance of hotel on the left side of building was very discreetly sign posted and easy to miss especially if you are new to the place. taxi also had a hard time finding the back door driveway. they should specifically state directions to hotel in their website.

What an absolutely amazing hotel. The location, the cleanliness, the staff, the views, the amenities, the comfort it was all there here at the Exc hotel in Shibuya. You might look at the price and see that it might be more expensive than other hotels in Shibuya but this hotel is right on the doorstep of Shibuya from seeing the crossing from the lift, to breakfast in the sky on the 25th floor this hotel was absolutely perfect and made our trip to Tokyo so special. There was nothing we could fault with this hotel and would continue to recommend it to others. I have read that hotel rooms in Tokyo and particularly in Shibuya a small but this room was by no means small plenty of space a king size bed, a couch and a desk and plenty of storage space for our belongings and our luggage.

Shibuya is great for eating - any kind of cuisine and any price point. Good roof top bars nearby. The Excel is right across the street from major train and subway lines so transportation is fine. The hotel is reasonably appointed, and the staff very accomodating. We have been staying here every year for 10 years or more
