Great location, nice and quiet area by the Shinjuku park, but very close to dining shopping and other fun activities. Hotel is nice and clean.

Great location to the gayborhood, the park and the Subway. Super quiet. I’ll stay here again and again. Note rooms are very efficient.

One of the newer / more modern looking hotels, but my God, are the rooms tiny. I'm not sure if that's just this hotel or all Tokyo in that price range, but the struggle was real with 3 luggages and 2 people in one double room. Probably okay for the lone tourist, but suggest shelling out more for something bigger for couples who can afford it.

Room was noisy and dark, and smelly. Staff was not helpful or caring. Location was only okay but it’s a long walk from the main station. Don’t pay for the breakfast it’s bad taste, minimum selection, and cold mostly.

Great location, not to busy yet next to a lot of activities and shopping centers.

Stay here exclusively for proximity to nightlife. The rooms are very small and covered in cheesy APA plastic placards. The mattresses have no firmness, you just sink in. You also have to check in twice—first with receptionist, then with a machine to get your key.

Nice Hotel, but the rooms are the smallest hotel rooms I have ever seen, 12m2, including a bathroom and double bed. Add to that that the only window ledas to a wall wo metres away, and practically no daylight coming in, you'll understand why I spent two nights instead of the 15 I had booked. The Hotel staff is helpful, however, and the included free breakfast was nice too.

Amazing location, super friendly staff, and comfortable clean rooms! Also very easy to get on metro to get around all of Tokyo from here.

Horrible customer services specially the restaurant personnel

Hotel is in a good location, in the middle of each location. Rooms very small but staff kept it very clean. A good budget hotel. Just a little too cramped for my liking.

Its convenient to Shinjuku city and you will love the onsen!

Toshio Motoyo is the CEO and owner of the hotel chain. He uses his position to place his personal political and social views in the lobby and rooms of his hotels. That gives me the right to comment on it in this review. I found his ideas offensive and insulting. I believe placing his published works in the rooms inappropriate. I will never stay and spend money in one of his hotels again.

Perfectly located. Rooms are clean but tiny. Highly recommended.

Overall should be 3.5, great location, clean facilities. However apa hotels hitler you regarding heating and cooling.

I did an 8-night stay here and it was my first time in Tokyo. Small everything. Wonderful beds, wonderful shower, wonderful staff. Hotel also has a spa downstairs. Located about 4-5 blocks from two train stations, one of them being the main Shinjuku station. Tons of places to eat nearby. Right next to the Royal Gardens which is a wonderful stroll. Extremely affordable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, facilities were great! Excellent location, walking distance to attractions in Shinjuku, and close to a couple different train station. Lots of food, convenience stores nearby. We had a wonderful stay here during our time in Tokyo.
