This hotel is so close to almost anywhere you want to go to shinjuku. excellent location! their onsen is wonderful as well!

I like the public bath and location . Staff were very helpful

Great hotel!! Very clean and the staff was very friendly. The room size for one person or couple is pretty gd. Bathroom is a little small but overall its really nice!

Best location for shopping drinking eating.. room is clean .

Nice Onsen for free use by guests. Very clean. Horrid pillows. Super unhelpful staff. No place to sit in lobby. Awful conditions in square outside of entrance...and I'm used to S.F.!!Just depressing to start and end day with. Not their fault but not fun.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! Staff is unfriendly, aloof, uncaring and don't go out of their way at all to help customers. The staff have poor English ability and seemingly no ability in other languages like Chinese. Odd since most guests seemed to be foreign. They had difficulties with my credit card. Check in took a long time. The room was very small - nothing like the pictures on their web site. False advertising. No closet and almost no room for clothes and suitcase. The room was steaming hot when I entered. the air conditioner didn't work. The TV didn't work. The toilet got clogged. A fire alarm went off after midnight on the 24th floor. I was on the 25th floor. We were told to stay in our rooms until they checked it out. Staff members went from room to room. One room did not respond and they merely went to the next room. Why didn't they open the room themselves and check it out? After an hour they declared the building safe. Their fire safety system features a plastic bag. Their safety videos instructs guests to put the plastic bag over their head while evacuating. Often times the elevators were crowded so it took some time to get to the 25th floor. The owner of APA Hotels features his right wing, ethnocentric and discriminatory books at the front desk and it the rooms. It was very small but it was lovely. In a very cool place with so much to do in the area.

Convenient to SHINJUKU station and the east did area. New hotel with public bath

The hotel is within just a few minutes walk of the station. The rooms are small, but it is Tokyo after all. My only issue was that the temperature of the room is centrally controlled meaning you can’t really adjust it to what you like (they did offer us a fan though). Also, they don’t have an iron on site either. Overall, a decent hotel but have stayed at others for slightly more money and felt like I got way more.

It was like sleeping in a capsule, do yourself a favor, add some extra money and find more than 11 sqm hotel. We have found 19sqm, life changer!

Great location, and the best part of this hotel beside the location was the spa at the 28th floor. Beside that, the room was extremely small; the size of the bed plus small space, no closet and no place to sit down. Breakfast was ahh, for a western flavor. The location and the spa give this place a thumb up.

Too far from train station. They told us fhere is $5 service charge to call taxi for us.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Rooms are very small space but they are comfortable with the basics. Nice perk, onsen/spa is avaiable for guests.

If you're looking for a hotel right in the middle of Shinjuku, the location can't be beat! You're right next to the entire Kobukicho district. That said, understand that you're getting the most basic of hotels. The bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows were petty much non-existent. And, even though I was on the top floor, the window might as well been open the entire time. It did little to keep the cold out, and I could constantly hear people's conversations on the street 27 floors below. I heard less of the people in the rooms beside me!
