ibis Sydney Darling Harbour

Probably 3.5 stars.

Great location close to Darling Harbour, walk through shopping centre to get to conversion centre. Small rooms, tiny beds but big TV. Breakfast good. Staff friendly. Room smelt a bit iffy.

Meriton Suites Campbell Street

Make sure you get the advertised room quality

After they gave us a lower floor room that was not like the advertised one, they went out of their way to make up for it. So, I have to give them full credit for it. We have had this issue with other properties too where there is a significant discrepancy between the advertised room that you rent and what you actually get. Orbitz/Expedia is aware of this but does not seem to want to do anything about it.

Hyatt Regency Sydney

Good hotel and I love the location

Good hotel and right now darling harbor, the staff were great and as nice as could be. The hotel had been added onto and I stayed in the older part so I cant speak for the newer part. The real complaints I have is that the carpets are old and worn you could really tell in the hall ways and the fact I really had shove my door open and closed. That being said the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was spotless which are two things that matter most to me.
