The bus transport is not working their breakfast was not good it’s a continental to go bagged breakfast and the rooms smelled wet.

Safety., clean during this COVID-19 perfect. Great location close to the USF university.

I made my reservation thru Orbitz which said the hotel was Per Friendly. After checking in, I was told I had to pay a one time charge of $75 AND I could not have a CAT. What does PET FRIENDLY mean? I could have had an Iguana or a snake. They are Pets. We were told if we wanted to stay another day we would have to pay another $150. We said no and found a place that really was Pet friendly and no charges. Also we did NOT use Orbitz for our next reservation. Hyatt said it was Orbitz fault. Who knows? I just want to reserve a Pet friendly place to sleep.

Great staff. Warm and welcoming. Thank you. Shuttle driver was very accommodating.

Staff were very friendly, service was good. Breakfast was decent, good coffee!

Carpet in room was dirty. Staff was friendly . Breakfast was ok

Rethink your stay!!! If you have neck or back problems (or sleeping issues at all) this hotel is not going to work for you. Our stay consisted of two nights attempting to sleep in horribly uncomfortable beds that make me wonder why there are not more ambulances out front taking guests to area hospitals. Hotel staff is friendly and welcoming, but can do nothing to address the fact that this hotel is situated on busy highways with 24 hr fast food and convenience stores all around - which coupled with the low income housing of the area - make this an unsafe location at night. You and your family will not be entirely safe in this area and must be attentive of your surroundings at all times if you do stay here. I relocated to Fla last year and have visited nearly every major city and attraction in the state and beyond since. If you are looking for a vacation anywhere between Atlanta and Miami, our experience here shows Tampa is easily the worst vacation choice you could make. The city itself is a gridlock and construction nightmare with a clearly unaddressed and growing homeless problem. The parks and attractions are absolutely underwhelming when compared to those in Orlando or even Naples. The single redeeming light of this stay was gaining the knowledge that Tampa is NOT the vacation spot advertised.

Helpful staff and very nice breakfast. Early checkin and late checkout are a nice feature.

Very old property for a Hyatt Place. The whole 3rd floor smelled musty, including our room. Had the feel of a budget hotel. Don't let the nice lobby fool you. Staff was nice though.

rooms were dated, ac unit wasn't sufficient for room size. Night Front desk man was great. Breakfast was pretty bad considering you had to pay $11 for it. I'll stay at the HIE next time we go to Moffit for treatment.

The cleanliness and quietness of the facility. Also the

We were evacuating from a possible direct hit from a hurricane so we came with a lot of stuff and my small dog. The room served its purpose but I was disappointed with the conditions of the room. It was dirty. We arrived very late and had already unloaded everything before I noticed how dirty it was, otherwise I would have requested another room. The pullout couch was undone, and there was 2 small pieces of lizard poop and pee on them, so we requested clean sheets. The kids were walking on the floor without socks and the bottoms of their feet were black within 30 minutes. The surfaces looked as if they weren’t clean, and the room looked old. Bathroom door could barely open without hitting the shower, and had pieces of the wood scratched off at the bottom. It wasn’t just our room- when riding in the elevator, there was garbage and hair and stuff on the floor.

For the great price, this was a nice place to stay and the breakfast in the morning was very good.

You are correct regarding the pet policy. We only accept dogs and based on the size of the dog and length of your stay, the minimum pet fee is $75. Traditionally we would have refused you service since you had a cat but we made a one time exception. As we explained, Hyatt website has all information regarding accomodations.
