Very nice facility, staff was wonderful but due to Covid we just had to make a appointment to use the Amenities like the pool n fitness center. Overall was a very good stay.

BAD: Mary at the front desk cased me inconvenience multiple times throughout my 9-day stay. Always, her reasoning for doing so was “I’m alone at the desk so I can’t” or “Housekeeping is gone for the day, so I can’t.” One notable occasion was my 5th day, when I lost my razor and didn’t realize until I was literally INSIDE the shower. When I called the desk to ask for one to be delivered, Mary told me that she was alone at the desk, so Id need to come down and get it. I jumped out of the shower, dried off, came down to the desk, and she told me “oh, I don’t have razors, only Housekeeping does and they’re gone for the day.” ………So why did you tell me to get out of the shower and come down? GOOD: Your overnight girl (Jasmin) is fabulous. I’ve worked overnights at a hotel, so I know for a fact she’s alone, and yet she never asked me to come to her or stated that she was alone at the desk at all. She even made an effort to bring something to my room once when she was clearly busy (I could hear through the phone), so I said no big deal, I’d come down. She had a line of at least 10 people at MIDNIGHT, and still didn’t make my call seem like an inconvenience. Comparing that experience to Mary was a definite culture shock. So tell me why Mary worked at least half of my 9 days and I only saw Jasmin once? You need to switch their schedules...

The hotel needs an overall, everything including furniture is old. The bathrooms need an upgrade, the tub was rusting and shows age. If the room next door is using their shower, the water gets cold while showering. I saw guests walking in and out not wearing masks. I thought we were in a pandemic. Overall the experience was not bad.

Barbara, the front desk clerk, was very pleasant and accommodating. The modified breakfast was fine. This hotel is very dated. Our first room had a rusty bathroom tub, dirty wall paper and very worn out furniture. Barbara changed our room upon our request. This second room was clean but had a bathtub faucet that leaked, worn out furniture and broken bedroom phone. I was told this hotel is due for renovation in 2021.

Is dirty and old is not a good place to stay , for the price

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Customer service was excellent!

The staff was awesome! The hotel could use some updating but it is all cosmetic.

I liked that the property was on the USF campus. Real close to Bush Gardens. A mall, several shopping centers, within blocks away. 15-20 minutes away from airport, Buccaneers Stadium. Breakfast was great, evening reception was ok. You can tell property is an older property but still has a standard about itself. Wish there was an indoor pool, jacuzzi.

My room had an odor smelled old. The furniture is old and upholstery made me hesitate to sit on it
