Very nice hotel in the heart of armory square. The room was clean and the help was great.

Very close to Syracuse University but still away from the crowds. Great free breakfast. Downsides are you have to use valet parking( it's free) and drapes let in considerable light for sleeping. I would stay here again, though.

The hotel is in the heart of downtown Syracuse. The hotel decor is classic, but has done an excellent job making the hotel modern. The staff are super friendly and provides any toiletries you might have forgotten. I never been in a hotel that offers anything from toothbrush, to shaving cream and deoderant so you don't have to goo out and purchase specially on a short business trip. The hotel offers a small happy hour wine and snacks just to munch on before heading out for dinner. The also offer a full breakfast with a chef to prepare omelette to your style in the AM. The rooms are supper quiet and provides free wifi to guests as well as parking. If the lot is full they will even valet your car for you. This is a super convenient hotel that I would choose over the Marriott or Hilton chain. I would definitely recommend this jen of a hotel!

Everything was fine at the hotel, except cleanliness in the room, but I'm picky. We didn't use amenities. Locations is superb. I would stay there again.

Hotel staff was very accommadating. Free parking, wifi, and breakfast all good. Nice hotel with a historic feel.

Great location in walking distance to restaurants. Great breakfast and valet service. Would go back.

The staff at the Jefferson Clinton are all incredibly friendly, the breakfast is delicious, & the hotel amenities are a unique personal touch. But the best part about staying here is its proximity to all the great bars & restaurants in the Armory Square area. Highly recommended!

My stay at the Jefferson Clinton in May 2013 was short but pleasant. The staff is responsive and friendly. The breakfast was very good; I especially liked the custom omelettes. I particularly like something other than a typical square hotel room and the Jefferson Clinton is far from typical. The room was small but comfortable and had a unique shape, having to do with the historical nature of the hotel and it's original design. The extensive updating that has gone on over the years was easily apparent. The shower was modern, with multiple shower heads / spray options and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The bed was small but very comfortable and compared very favorably to higher priced hotels with high quality bedding and linens. The Jefferson Clinton is located in the heart of the busy Armory area of Syracuse with good shopping and an active night life with many restaurants, bars and several microbreweries within easy walking distance. Traffic was not bad. I felt safe walking at night. The museum is across the street. The hotel seemed to have good security. I regret having only a long weekend for my visit to Syracuse and would return to the Jefferson Clinton again.

We had reserved a standard room with a queen size bed. When we got to our room it was no bigger than a closet with a full size bed filling the majority of the floor space. We mentioned this at the front desk and they were very apologetic, saying that room had recently been renovated and it is now suited for a single traveler. We were upgraded to an executive suite which was absolutely wonderful, more than any guest could hope for. If we had to stay in our initial room it would have been extremely expensive for such a small room.

We've been to Syracuse many times but just discovered this well kept local spot.

Was very good, except for the problems with the elevator.

I took their smallest room, which was quite adequate. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and attractive rooms. In the heart of the downtown nightlife, though the neighborhood is not the best. Staff is conscious of security issues. Parking is a plus.

Dear Kathleen, Thank you for being our guest and leaving a review. We are glad you enjoyed breakfast. Next time you visit let me know and I'll make sure you have black-out clips in your room. They help with the light. Warm Regards, Jamie
