Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Chippendale4.0 out of 5.0

If you have booked, ensure you do not stay in room number 2. It backs onto the cafe and you can literally hear every word spoken in the cafe from the time it opens. There is also construction next door which starts very early. The building fire alarm went off at 7.15am the morning we were there and went on for over 5mins. No one apologised for the inconvenience when we checked out. On a positive note, the cafe, Twenty 8 Acres, does a brilliant breakfast! There is a small grocery store a couple mins walk away and lots of Uber Eats options deliver.
Very short walk from Redfern train station which was perfect for us to get there from the airport on a budget. 24 hour front desk is extremely convenient too as we were on the last flight out from Adelaide on a Friday night. Only issue was the construction site opposite our room, across the street, as they had power tools on at 8am, but in reality we accepted that this isn't Adina's fault, just that we would have appreciated being informed. No fan in the bathroom was a bit odd too, and having a blind next to the shower isn't really a very practical/hygienic thing.
This was a great location to local universities and downtown life. The place was very private and great for a long stay. Very clean and neat. Only complaint would be the lack of lobby to stay since I arrived 4 hours prior to check-in.
The vent cleanliness must be improved. Need batteries in the remote. Good location. TV needs to be tuned in. Bathroom clean. I sneezed all the next day due to unclean air. Receptionist friendly. Good to have a café near by.
Clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and great value for money. The three bedroom apartment were very decent in size with one ensuite and one central bathroom. It has an excellent large LED TV in the lounge and individual TVs in the bedroom. The staff were friendly and it has a 24 hour reception service. It is a great location for visiting academics to the university of Sydney. The only con is the pillow is a bit too firm and high. Though a spare low pillow was available in the closet.
The accommodation was in an ideal position for Sydney University where I was working during my stay. The apartment was of a very high standard and the service excellent. It is so much better to stay in an apartment than a single hotel room, not least because it enables meetings and the preparation of food.
We only needed a studio apartment but none available for our dates so the price was more than what we wanted to pay. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious, and overlooking the garden so was quiet.
I stayed here for 10 nights on a business trip visiting USYD. Location was perfect and hotell was okay. Breakfast was served (at a cost) at the nearby cafe. Staff could have been more friendly and helpfull, but okay.
perfect for our purposes, and very comfortable spacious rooms. Close to station, and lots of cafes also nearby. Small pool, but given this is Sydney, not surprising. Would recommend for most purposes, especially if you needed to be in CBD, Sydney Uni, or RPAH.
I stayed at this hotel as it is near to the University where I had some business to attend to. I liked that the rooms were clean, and well-maintained. I also appreciated that there was daily servicing of the apartment. The apartment was well-equipped for settling your own meals, everything was working well. It was a 12-minute walk to Aldi where I could get groceries. I stayed on the ground floor, was next to the road so there was just a little bit of noise from outside but nothing that made me lose sleep. I just thought that the staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming, but other than that was satisfied with the 2 nights that I was there.
