Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. As soon as we walked in we noticed there was water dripping from the ceiling from the airconditioner. Contacted reception who advised here are some towels and it will stop. A couple of hours later went down and the man at reception said give it time but it will stop. Anyway next morning after being sick of changing towels on the ground i went to reception and spoke to a lady who was lovely who apoligised and offered a new room. Moved to another room at midday and it was perfect. I am happy with outcome but not with the customer service we first received when we first arrived. He did not offer a new room when we first arrived but said just keep putting towels on the ground and it should stop!!! When i book a room i shouldnt be made to do this as i should be enjoying my stay.
Worst customer service I've ever received! The manager was rude and aggressive...and not very accomodating with a mix up made by the hotel. The room was below average and so basic. I would never ever come back here again for neither a work stay or any stay.
This apartment would be fantastic if you were staying for a few weeks. Laundry, full kitchen and spacious. Easy walk to transport and supermarkets and large shopping malls. Pedestrian strip and restaurants near by. Great Asian food court next door. I was there for an overnight business stay. Didn't quite suit my needs, no room service when you are back from work late. But very clean and comfortable. I rattled around a little on my own.
Great location next to train station as I had work at st Leonard's. Rooms was clean and great view of city. It's serviced everyday ! Only issue is - there is not a huge variety of types of food. 99% Asian but there is a Woolworths and coles so you can create your own meal if you can be bothered. Definitely stay there again
We were impressed on arrival of your reception area and elevator, very nice and shiny. Although management was somewhat rude and continued to forget to tell me the little things, eg, to scan your card in the elevator, after I found myself stuck for a good 10 minutes ready to press the emergency button. The facilities: pool- all of the furniture around the pool was mouldy, faded and had holes torn in the cushions. Gym- the gym that is a shoebox size greats you with a disturbing odour and the sweat stains all over the treadmills that clearly aren’t cleaned regularly, or rarely for that matter. And than there’s our suite. Old, ugly and outdated. The lounge chairs look like they’re from the second hand shop and we’re dirty, the kitchen is very small and we couldn’t use the plates as they still had food stuck to them, when I picked up the ones from underneath I was greeted with at least 2 tablespoons of water! 🤢 My bathroom had mould in the shower and above the basin. Hair in my towel and tissue box, and they don’t even provide a hairdryer. You have to PAY for wifi and every single skirting board is badly scuffed and missing paint. I strongly feel for a hotel that it 4.5 stars you need to upgrade your rooms and hire better cleaners, because I’m going to the meriton next time, cheaper for a bigger newly furnished apartment. Overall disappointed.
As an Accor Plus member I typically stay at Accor properties for both business and personal travel when I can. My previous experiences with Sebel properties (mainly Brisbane) have been excellent. My expectations were obviously high. My two room apartment was spacious and clean. It was a little dated but by Chatswood standards excellent value for money. Unfortunately the mattresses in the rooms were the most uncomfortable of any property I ever stayed out. Unfortunately because of this I will not be coming back.
Before even arriving at the hotel for my stay I received horrible customer service from the "manager" of the hotel. After being told a week ahead of time that my mother (who was travelling with me) had to have urgent neurosurgery the day before my booking I was obviously not keen on keeping my booking as there are definitely more appropriate places I should be. I spoke with the reception in the morning and the lady that helped me was absolutely lovely, she advised that she was unable to cancel my booking but because of my circumstances she would speak with her manager and see what they could do. Later that afternoon I received a call from an extremely abrupt 'manager' she informed me that she could cancel my booking however I would have to forfeit my deposit, when I enquired about the amount she informed me it was the entire room price. Whilst the response wasn't what I was hoping for, I did expect it. What I didn't expect was the attitude and to be honest the lack customer service I experienced from the 'manager'. The abruptness and rudeness from her was appalling, I am an Accor member and stay in Accor hotels more often than not when travelling and have never experienced such poor service from anyone let alone a manager. I didn't try and negotiate the decision as it was obvious that she was trying to terminate the conversation. I really hope she is not training staff because your hotel will be in trouble. Upon arrival I was promised a welcome drink delivered to my room and an Accor member, the drink never arrived, fist rule in customer service is 'don't over-promise & under deliver' which is exactly what happened with this hotel.
close to the station and shops. Beautiful clean units. My preferred hotel in Sydney no matter where I am working that week. The staff are always very helpful and the parking is inexpensive for such a central location
This is a lovely hotel, close to shopping in Chatswood. Loved the space, the cleanliness and the service. Easy parking and nice breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to others and will be a return traveller.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment for a week. The space was fine, looking a little dated but fine for what we needed. Clean and the room was refreshed each day. The disappointing thing was the service, or should I say lack of service. The staff almost seemed like they didn't want to be there.
