This was an awful experience. The onsite restaurant was closed for renovations and no mention of that was made when booking. There was a large red stain on the carpet in the room. The bathtub surface was chipping and falling apart. The toilet seat was broken. A drawer between the beds wouldn’t stay closed unless I put a pillow in front of it. The pool had an oily surface and had not been cleaned. There was no breakfast available even though the property listed it. The place was dirty in general and not maintained. It was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had.

Long line to check in and only 2 people at the desk, until one of them left. We waited almost an hour to check in. No parking on site, only 1 handicapped spot in front of the hotel and we were told that we could only park there to check in. When we arrived at 5:00 in the afternoon, there were dirty linens and garbage piled all along the hallways, with all of the unpleasant odors that accompanied them. when we left in the morning, there was still garbage lining the hallway.

My whole experience was terrible. Check in was at 4. Traffic was so bad I didn’t get there till 5:30. There was an hour+ line to check in. They overbooked 26 rooms and I was one of the ones without the room I paid for. They initially told us our double room we had already booked and paid for would be ready in 30 minutes after check in. When that did not happen we had to just take a single room for 4 people because that is all they ended up having available but they were not honest or transparent about any of these issues.

The hotel was overbooked, we did not get the room we asked for we ended up getting a single King instead of a double. We paid over a week in advance. The water had issues,toilet wouldn't flush and the shower never drained. I do not recommend this hotel. There is just also not enough staff to help the people that were in line, we waited over an hour to check in.

Paid for a room that was given to someone else.

I’m currently trying to file a claim because I paid for this room through hotels.com on May 27. When we arrive to the hotel yesterday evening at 6 PM we were told they did not have a room for us. They lied and said that there was no clean rooms And they held onto that lie until I asked them to be honest about over booking the hotel. There were at least 10 other people with the same situation in that exact hotel. this hotel knew exactly what they were doing, they promised rooms they did not have and people who paid were left out of a room. We had to drive home five hours at 11 PM after our show because the hotel would not give us a room and would not give us our money back. and hotels.com is not making this easy for me right now to figure out how to file a claim. This needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau. This hotel scammed your business. We paid for a room we never stayed in. And the hotel did absolutely nothing to help us or accommodate us. Or the many others that were changing in their bathroom in the lobby for a show while there was feces all over the wall. This hotel is disgusting. I cannot believe we had to go through this.

Was given a king bed despite booking two queen beds for two travelers (other customers experienced the same issue). Public parking was the only option available, no comp is given to offset the $52 daily parking fee. The room had no AC, the temperature remained at 80°. The staff performed well, considering they were placed in a losing position by ownership and management (shame on the management group). The reviews were a warning, but due to the events taking place that day, this was the only reasonable option. I will not return to this property.

Hotel room was the filthiest, smelliest room I have ever been in. Door was open on arrival and would not close, black mold, hair and grime in bathtub, wallpaper peeling off with moist walls and carpet. I booked another hotel and left after 5 minutes.

When I booked this hotel it was under the name, The Arch Convention Hotel. I put it in google maps and it took me to the back side of the convention center, it felt unsafe, especially at night. But the main issue was the hotel name is the Holiday Inn, not what was listed. VERY FRUSTRATING!! The staff that checked me in was nice, the room was good but the bathroom was outdated, old looking and the towels were thin and scratchy. The worst bathroom towels I've ever used.

Hotel was massively overbooked. Prepaid customers getting turned away. The Line to check in was over an hour long with very few people getting a room and many of those had the incorrect room. People sleeping in the lobby with nowhere go. Somehow I managed to get a room but others in my party were not as fortunate. But the hotel was nice enough to provide an air mattress that only a small hole in it. Stay away from this place!!!!!!!!

Cheesheads in arch town.

Family stay after visiting the City Museum and be before visiting the Arch. Convenient location, can walk to the Arch and Busch stadium. Disappointed that the hotel bar and restaurant both closed before 9 pm on a Saturday night making us walk about to find food elsewhere.

I booked with the expectation my family of 4 would have friendly attractions and safe and convenient environment. The hotel is currently under construction and has not yet switch over to The Arch Convention Hotel from Holiday Inn. The hotel restaurant was unavailable along with easily accessible parking. My only options were to pay $25 to park in the drop off zone or to park around the corner and up the street on a construction site near homeless camps. I have 2 kids and currently pregnant. This place was a waste of $150 that I am unable to get back because I was not made aware the “Holiday Inn” that’s on the building is actually the Arch Hotel. They have no on site parking lot, no onsite restaurant, not kid friendly, safe, or easily accessible . Certainly, false advertising
