Extended Stay America - St. Louis - Airport - Central

Needed to stay in St Louis for one night to catch a flight...Extended Stay was convenient to a restaurant and offered shuttle service. Clean and friendly, will definitely stay again.

For me this was initially only a cheap means to stay for a night, but was surprised to find a neat and comfort hotel. The breakfast was good too.

Hotel was fantastic! Only challenge was locating the hotel as it is tucked in behind other buildings.

Currently undergoing some well needed renovations, though unsure to the extent. The sleeping and kitchen areas of our room showed definite signs of wear and tear. On the other hand, the location is very convenient to the airport and highway system despite the unusual traffic pattern into and out of the property. It was not a Marriott Residence Inn and it was also not priced in that range. This is a fine example of you get what you pay for and if you would rather spend less for less amenities, in order to use your money in other areas (meals, entertainment, etc.) this would be an adequate choice.

I always park here when I fly out of STL - their shuttle runs 24 hrs per day (you do have to call 24 hrs in advance to reserve it) and the parking is super cheap (< $3/day). I've never had a problem with the security of my car - it's usually parked within sight of the front door. Rooms are pretty nice. Free wifi. Someone always answers the front desk quickly.

The room was shabby. The chair arms were work out. It really looked run down. There were bugs also. If I wasn't so tired I would have left.

It was worth the price, amenities are only served as per request but they let you know about the same when you check in

It was wonderful. The only thing missing was a pool.

overall stay was ok however room smelled like smoke when I first opened the door even though it was on a non-smoking floor. Two of the card reader accesses to the rear doors near my room did not work during off hours

Room is comfortable but only one pan in the kitchenette limits cooking options. Building is pretty old and situated right near I-70 so road noise is excessive, also STL airport is across the highway so be prepared for that noise as well. Staff at front desk is pretty friendly, laundry facilities are in good condition and clean. Nothing special here, an economical option for a short term stay in St. Louis.

Hotel staff was pleasant but no amentities provided

tami hilton shoveled a patch of snow away from the back of my tires so I could back out. She was friendly and cooperative. The front desk people in the daytime was very sympathetic to me this past weekend. I felt like I was staying with friends and family when I was at Stay America.

I normally do not write reviews, but this deserved one. This hotel looked okay from pics, and even from the outside once we arrived. However, the inside was horrible! The floors were stained everywhere from what looked like animal waste (and the smell matched). Our room was extremely dirty, so much so that we actually cleaned some of it ourselves before we used it. There was a film of crud on the counters/faucets that was gross, and there was even mold growing in the corners! All around, it was a disgusting hotel. Also, the airport shuttle driver was 15 mins late because somebody had to go wake him up, and he was extremely unfriendly. We would not recommend this hotel to anybody, and we will never return!

Thought that my wife and I could get away to relax, but this experience was like no other. We've been to other facilities comparable to this one and have been blown away from the first day to the last. Personal effects from a previous patron were left by the housekeeping staff, amenities offered were not readily available, and to top it off, this establishment thought that it would be a great idea to replace their mattresses on the weekend, when most people such as myself, desire a little relaxation. I thought that alone to be very unprofessional and disrespectful to any patron. One clerk, when asked for items previously requested, nonchalantly replied with, "yes, I know because they left a note up here". The items were requested at 8:00 a.m. shortly after having been awakened to remove the bed, but we had to ask about these items upon our return back to the hotel at 11:00 p.m as they were still not in our room. We had to use the blanket off of the bed to cover the ironing board in order to iron our clothing because it had no cover on it. I can guarantee that if we ever travel back to that area, we will not be staying there.

For the price we paid it was a good value. We would stay there again. There are better places but there are far worse places.

Was not impressed at all with this hotel, should have listened to the thumbs down reviews. We checked in after the front desk was closed, and the worker came to the door in her uniform and BUNNY SLIPPERS. The room did not have shampoo or coffee filters. Also when we opened the door to the room, we thought it had been robbed. All of the drawers and cabinets were all open and the dishes were out on the counter. The window was wide open. The thermostat in the room did not work, it had no power, luckily the temp outside had been warm enough that it was not to cold in the room. Over all not impressed at all, was not even worth the $45 spent

Bath tub was dirty. Grout was missing between some tiles and there was mold in the corners. Would not use the shower.

Good place. Asked someone to marry me. The only thing was that the smoke alarm blinked all night.

Upon arrival, the staff was not at the front desk and after summons of attendant, it took a while for them to get to the sign-in area. The room looked like it had been slept in without cleaning an there was no soap in the room. The carpet on the floor throughout the hotel was extremely in need of replacement. The snack machines were severely malfunctioned and I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

lied about fitness center.
