Everything was great. She has everything you could possibly need. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is great for someone in a wheelchair!

The house was wonderful. It allowed us to gather in the living room/dinning or kitchen.The bathroom were very nicely stocked with lots of towels and several different lotions.We were able to watch a sporting event on the TV with no problems.We will rent again next year.

Host very easy to communicate with, responded timely to questions. The extra touches were appreciated, fresh flowers! Snacks, refreshments, basic bathroom extras...and huge. Very spacious and sprawling. Ideal for large family gathering for wedding, parents day, homecoming, girls weekend, showers etc. Also ADA accessible.

We were mainly there for a place to sleep and shower and a little social time but we came to Illinois for the Half Century of Progress Show. But overall a great stay and would definitely reserve the house again

Nice stay

There a few trip hazards in some of the door ways. Had to watch that my mother would not trip. The house was nice and big, very spacious. Was impressed with the amount of towels available and the very simple house rules to follow. Had a great stay for my son’s wedding.

Have stayed at lots of VRBOs. This, by far, had most emeritus. Only thing that could have made it better was if there was TV in the lubing room. This place had EVERYTHING else!

Great place for large group with many amenities that you wouldn’t expect. Very comfortable and homey

We had a great time, it was just the right set up for 3 couples, I adult son , 1 10 year old and 2 babies. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Location safe with walking distance eateries.

Great house!

This spacious house was perfect for a family group in for a wedding. This was the best supplied house we've rented! The bedrooms, living room and kitchen had tons of room. Very clean, and conveniently located.

Wedding gathering

My daughter was married at Homer Lake. We needed a place close by to sleep 6 people comfortably. We also needed Handicap accessible location. Met with host and it was perfect for are needs. The property was clean, well stocked, everyone had their own space to unwind after some busy days. The location was about 4 miles from wedding venue. Several excellent places to eat within walking distance. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. If ever in ST Joseph IL area definitely try it the location for a stay.

Football Weekend

This was a perfect spot for our family visiting UIUC for a football weekend. Closer to campus than many of the "local" hotels and so much more comfortable. The host has all the bases covered including extra toiletries and coffee. The space itself is generous but cozy, updated add absolutely spotless. The host was great answering all our questions prior to our visit as well. We look forward to returning for our next visit!

Great spot just outside Chambana!

We had 9 people in our crew and it fit us perfectly! 4 large bedrooms and 2.5 baths were all super clean and the decor is super cute. We came into town to catch an Illinois football game, and the value here versus what we would’ve spent on 3 hotel rooms was insane - plus we had a large common area so we could all hang out together. Amanda was super responsive and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We hope we can do this again one day, and Southern Charm Suites will be the first property I look for if we can. Thank you!

Perfect Location

We were in town for a football game. The location was perfect, in regards to the University of Illinois. The house was well setup and stocked, with everything thing you could possibly need. The snacks and drinks provided where a bonus, and very much appreciated. Amanda was communicative and responsive, and she just seem to really care about the little things that made for such an enjoyable stay. The rental was very clean and provided plenty of parking. An overall great experience. Can not say enough how pleased our group was with the rental. Five stars all the way around.

Lots of space

The place had lots of room for the 8 of us staying. Very clean and well taken care of. Lots of parking and a quiet neighborhood. Only negative was the lack of a kitchen, but there are a lot of close restaurants (Highly recommend "The Ribcage"). We would definitely stay again.
