A year ago I went to the property to see if it was good for a family reunion. The fact that it had a kitchenette was the clincher. I called Cody the GM and he helped me get my room block together. He was so helpful and worked with me as the date for closer. There was a lot of musical rooms and he was patient. The day before reunion I met with Cody and we went through the rooming list and got our group of 60 all squared away. Thank you Cody for EVERYTHING! There were a few bumps but I will address this with him and know he will take care of it. The pool was a hit the breakfast was good and everyone enjoyed their stay. Appreciate all you did!
Right off the bat, I confess that I dislike the whole town of St. George. Every time I've been here the main street is jammed with traffic.and most of the people I've encountered seem to be mad at everything. That was the case when I checked in to the TownePlace Suites--the woman behind the desk barely condescended to talk to me. The room itself was fine. But the breakfast buffet was about the worst I've ever encountered in a hotel is this class. The oddest thing was some sort of concoction that was supposed to look like a fried egg, but apparently was made in a factory somewhere. And the breakfast room was jammed--too small for a hotel this size.
Wasn't sure what we would get as we made this reservation at the last minute. This place is furnished with a full kitchenette and is set up for slightly longer stays away from home. The complementary breakfast was better than others we've had from similar hotels.
I spent an evening here while in St. George Utah and decided to stay here due to the price and the reputation of this property, the price here was very reasonable. The room was very clean and the staff was very respectful and the breakfast in the morning was perfect. This property is centrally located next to a bunch of restaurants and shopping businesses. I will be back!!!
Nice sized rooms with kitchen amenities. Breakfast was good with many choices. Pool area is noisy and we heard the noise of swimmers and reverberations of the diving board until very late at night. Ask for west side room to avoid this problem. Easy access to freeway and next door to Courtyard and very close to all shopping and restaurants. Have stayed here many times and will return.
We visited St. George to watch our daughter compete in the Half Ironman triathlon and stayed at the TownePlace Suites. Check in was expeditious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our suite was spacious and comfortable and very clean. They even opened for breakfast at 4 AM on the day of the competition so that athletes staying there could get something to eat before the race. would definitely recommend this place for South Utah travelers.
My family was here for the weekend for Dixie State softball games and banquet. We had a 2 bedroom suite, and it accommodated 3 adults and a child. The living room was a little small, and wished it had 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was nice and had a large refrigerator. The bedrooms were good sized. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and close to the university.
We recently stayed here. We found the staff friendly and helpful and the room was very nice, clean and had everything we needed. The morning breakfast was a good selection and someone was always right there to restock, wipe off tables etc. Our only complaint was that our room faced the pool and it is open until 11 p.m. There were many families staying there and the children were screaming in the pool 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there until 11 p.m. The hotel is near restaurants and shops and easy access to the freeway!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The employees were incredibly friendly. The room was cleaned and well appointed. There's a small kitchen area that has most everything that you could need. We were just a couple, but it's perfect for a small family and we noticed the hotel seemed to have many families staying here. The pool area is very nice and situated in the sun. There's a nice gym and jacuzzi. I would give this 5 stars, but I am an Internet junkie. They give you free wifi, or the option to purchase better wifi. I always opt for the free, but it was constantly needed to be rejoined which was a bit annoying. Other than that, it was perfect. We would def stay here again, even with that issue.
Booked a two bedroom suite for my family, but was woken two nights by television from adjoining room. Given the expense, I was totally dissatisfied. Spoke to night managers each evening. The night managers even came into the master bedroom and acknowledged how loud the noise was. However, they were not able to do anything to resolve the situation. I asked that the general manager be informed, but that person never bothered to get back to me. Really disappointed. This is the most expensive hotel in the entire city. Overall, the facilities are nice enough, but I won't stay there again. Next time I visit St George, I'll book two adjoining rooms at another hotel and save money compared to the two bedroom suite at TownPlace Suites.
