The sheets appeared not changed after previous guest (saw hairs). And room was generally quite dated. although this is a non-smoking hotel and room, the room clearly smelled like cigarettes.

Frendly staff always available laundry facilities close to every importante spot. Perfect alternative if you want to reduce costs to expence in bigger cities.

Everything was excellent except that room for handicap that my parents stayed wasn't. The room has a plate as a room for handicap and was like any other room that the reat of my family stayed at. They have to distinguesh how those room designated for handicap looks like, and them put the plate on.

The management was extremely problematic and would not address problems.

We needed to find a place in the Pioneer Valley last minute and all our usual hotels were sold out due to the nearby Big Eastern Exhibition. We were really pleased with this Econolodge. It is very close to our destination of Northampton, as well as Amherst. Rooms were simple but fairly large, clean and fresh, bed was super comfortable. There is even a nice indoor pool. Staff was excellent.

Everything Was fine. Pool was refreshing. Close to shopping.

Everything is good except the air conditioning is too aloud.

An adequate hotel for the price. It was a busy night in town & we were close to everything.

There were some things to dislike about this stay in this room, but I was happy that the shower was good - with plenty of hot water and functioning properly.

Great location, clean room. Right next to UMass Amherst with plenty of dining options right out the front door. Breakfast is solid, nothing special, but good enough to get you out the door on the right foot. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in for business in Amherst, this one's a great deal for a one night lay over for business.

great location right next to shopping. Room was clean and comfortable.

This is a clean room, with a great staff, in a great location if you're in the Amherst area for business.

Very economical choice for a quick visit to Amhearst, MA area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hadley ended up having pleasant nearby-by restaurant choices. They even had a pool-next time I'll bring a bathing suit!

Nearby UMass Amherst campus. Adequate rooms. Continental breakfast is nothing special, but its free.

We were visiting Northampton for the start of school. The hotel was a nice place to stay and it was the area where all the stores are located. I had no issues staying here for 9 days. It was a busy weekend too where the hotels were packed.

It;s not the Ritz and it doesn't pretend to be. For the price I paid, the place was great. Easy parking, very nice front desk staff, free Internet, clean room, comfy mattress, easy access to UMass. Amenities were what they were but I was not expecting designer stuff so I took my own soap and shampoo as I usually do. The one downside was that there was a Dunkin' Donuts right next door. I really need to exercise better self-restraint.

We were in Amherst for a college visit. The hotel is convenient to either Amherst or UMass. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and the continental breakfast nice. The pool is really nice but we didn't use it. Would have liked an exercise room, but there isn't one.

Used this hotel to take some sunrise & sunset pics of the Quabbin Reservoir. Being only 10 miles away, this was a perfect hotel to wake up at 5am and get some great shots.

Econo Lodge in Hadley was very clean and we had a decent room at a good price. Just stayed one night during a class reunion, so really only needed a convenient place to sleep, didn't plan to spend any time at the hotel other than that. very convenient to UMass

My husband and I were visiting our daughter at college, and this made the perfect base of operations. Check-in was smooth, the room fairly spacious and very clean, and the bed firm but not uncomfortably so. The free wifi was user-friendly to log on to, and the proximity to Whole Foods and Panera's Bread gave us lots of food options. The front desk staff brought us extra pillows, upon request, promptly, with a smile. We were very comfortable the three days we stayed here.
