Quirks of a single traveler...

The 'hot' food was only lukewarm but there were plenty of other choices. The bed was great...just too many pillows to fight with. Could have had more towels/wash clothes in the bathroom...but had plenty of space. The entire place was clean as a whistle and quiet. I'd stay there again.

Hate 3rd party bookers

Staff had a nasty attitude, I had called about a possible room change, the manager told me to call the 3rd party booking, but also said I could check when we arrived to see if anything opened up. When I said I called earlier I was shut down by “my manager already told me about you” very rudely. I was told we could not have cot due to local fire codes. The hotel itself is very nice, the staff needs to learn how to speak to customers appropriately. The manager clearly hates 3rd party booking!

Extremely convenient--close to UMass, to Amherst College, to food and shopping options--but still pretty quiet and comfortable. Clean, nice facilities, excellent service, staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Good hotel but bad behavior condoned

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Good soap, two bars. Towels were fine. Bathtub needs a mat or strips on the bottom of the tub— slippery and dangerous! There was a small group of friends with about 6 small children who were screaming and running amok in the breakfast room while their parents provoked them to even greater extremes of misbehavior. The hotel staff couldn’t have been unaware of what was going on, since the children’s screams could have been heard in Boston, yet nothing was done. Are the other guests expected to police the hotel and reprimand inconsiderate parents?

For the price the accomodations were great! Proximity to attractions were superb. The part of these accomodations were the extra bedspace. For a family of five having the bunk beds, king bed, plus a pull out couch.

Very comfortable room. Bed and pillows were outstanding. Staff was friendly, maintenance staff, don’t know his name was kind and helped us with our door. For some reason our key card didn’t work. I had to go to front desk to get new cards. I don’t know if it’s the lock on the door, but it takes three tries to get in.
