The property could be updated. The shower hummed when you turned it on. The bathroom still had a bathtub where most properties I stayed in had a walk in shower. There was no microwave in the room. This was a major disappointment. Could not bring my leftovers back with me because there was no place to heat them up.
We were going to an event at the Century Center and liked it’s location. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel.
This property was dirty and old. The shower was old and showed crappy repairs completed. Duct tape held curtains to the wall. The ice machine didn’t work in the hall way. Would not recommend this hotel and it is definitely not a 4 star hotel as advertised. I was hotel cat fished!
I did not like the fact that the Starbucks and the restaurant were not open this weekend. I would have liked to eat in the restaurant.
Perfect location and value
Great place in the heart of downtown, river facing rooms, covered courtyard, next door to restaurants and museums.
The property has a unique setup with a huge enclosed area with a bar/restaurant. There's a starbucks attached. The gym had a good amount of equipment. There was a pool. The location was great. Safe area, nice view of the St. Joe River. Staff was great. Love the cookies, but I was surprised they had nuts in them! It says on the package, but with nut allergies so prevalent, seems like they could make them without nuts. The parking deck was SHORT. 5'8" clearance. I had a really difficult time with that. The glass needs to be replaced on the window, it was foggy and the air conditioner made annoying loud noises all night. I let the staff know about it in the morning. Definitely needed that starbucks after trying to sleep with that thing banging periodically throughout the night. Overall, priced fairly.
The room wasn’t clean properly nor was the bathroom. It looked like someone was smoking in the bathroom and poured ashes in the toilet and didn’t flush it completely!!! I called the front desk several times for trash bags, towels and to inquire about a microwave but no one answered. When I got downstairs to the front desk there was no rep present, he was laid back on the couch watching television and once he saw me after 5 minutes he then got up to assist. He wasn’t about to provide me with towels or trash bags but did guide me to the microwave. They had very little supplies in the concession area as well. Check-in was quick and easy; I stayed on the 8th floor and had a beautiful view of the river and town which was what I requested and they honored and I appreciated that!! In the parking ramp I utilize handicapped parking and near my vehicle pipelines had frozen and fall and was hanging very low which could have cause serious damages to vehicles and individuals. When my husband brought it to the hotel rep attention he appeared to not care and was rude (same rep that was laid out on the couch and didn’t answer the front desk phone). Overall, I don’t see myself residing in this hotel in the future and I am always in South Bend, I’m very disappointed because this is a beautiful hotel!!
It has a unique look.
Outstanding overall stay! Great rooms along with the cool vibe in the Atrium area made for a really good stay in South Bend. Location of hotel can’t be beat!
Pool was closed with no prior indication. Shower was not well outdated. Parking in the garage is worrisome as the ceiling is very low and the front desk gave me no indication there was a lot for large vehicles. Room smelled of smoke when we first walked in. And finally the shower water did not get hot. Don’t stay here
It was very clean in the the workers was very helpful
Parking garage entrance was very low. We booked online and unaware of parking fee. Hotel and staff were great.
The main restaurant within the hotel was closed so guests could not order food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) or drinks to not only the room but in the hotel at all. Starbucks was also closed the entire stay. The tv in the room did not work. The hallway on our floor smelt of sewage and the hotel area is surrounded with homeless people.

Thanks so much for the detailed review and we do have an outside lot on the back side of the Hotel for taller vehicles and we will make sure we address the noisy AC. We sincerely appreciate your business and hope to serve you again soon.
Starbucks was closed, however the restaurant was open? hours are 7AM until 2PM and again 5PM until 11PM and perhaps you went during closing times. We thank you for your business.
