The room wasn’t clean properly nor was the bathroom. It looked like someone was smoking in the bathroom and poured ashes in the toilet and didn’t flush it completely!!! I called the front desk several times for trash bags, towels and to inquire about a microwave but no one answered. When I got downstairs to the front desk there was no rep present, he was laid back on the couch watching television and once he saw me after 5 minutes he then got up to assist. He wasn’t about to provide me with towels or trash bags but did guide me to the microwave. They had very little supplies in the concession area as well. Check-in was quick and easy; I stayed on the 8th floor and had a beautiful view of the river and town which was what I requested and they honored and I appreciated that!! In the parking ramp I utilize handicapped parking and near my vehicle pipelines had frozen and fall and was hanging very low which could have cause serious damages to vehicles and individuals. When my husband brought it to the hotel rep attention he appeared to not care and was rude (same rep that was laid out on the couch and didn’t answer the front desk phone). Overall, I don’t see myself residing in this hotel in the future and I am always in South Bend, I’m very disappointed because this is a beautiful hotel!!

Parking in the garage is worrisome as the ceiling is very low and the front desk gave me no indication there was a lot for large vehicles. Room smelled of smoke when we first walked in. And finally the shower water did not get hot. Don’t stay here

The hotel is beautiful. the staff are very nice and friendly. my complaint goes against the maid service who did not clean our room. We left our room at 2pm. the maids were still on the floor. we even saw her and told her the room was ready to be cleaned only to come back and find out it was never touched. Please Note we arrived back form our event so late it was not worth our time to call the desk since we were leaving at 5am. My son had a similar experience where all they did to his room was give fresh towels. the beds remained unmade and garbage pail not emptied. Bottom Line, great hotel, great location great pool and gym, they just need to check on their maid service

Clean, nice. Parking garage has low headroom. Otherwise very nice for the night.

The staff is great. The hotel is connected to the Century Center by a glass hallway, which is great. The rooms look updated, but the hallways needed help - the ceiling tiles were open or ripped up, so it's clear that they're doing renovations, but it was a bit of an eyesore. The pool is closed for renovation, which was disappointing to my daughter, so if that's important to you as well, choose the Courtyard literally next door. The two queen beds are actually two full beds, FYI.

The rooms were nice. A bit cramped for just two people. But the beds were very comfortable. And the bathrooms where very clean. The biggest complaint is the room overlooked the atrium. We were on the third floor and right below was a bar. The Cubs game was on and we could hear everything. We had to put the air conditioner on to try and reduce the noise.

Room by the road was a bit noisy. Great gym. Good stay overall.

Great view and close to everything downtown. Pleasant customer service and it even has a Starbucks!

My sincere apology for the Housekeeping and service issue. As far as the parking garage goes, you are correct about the low plumbing pipes located throughout the garage and could indeed cause damage to those that ignore the clearly posted 5 foot 8 inch clearing caution signs at both entrances. The pipes are clear water drain lines as a most part and some steam lines that can build up moisture on the outside appearing frozen, which I assure you they are not. My sincere apologies for the cleanliness and service issue and assure they will be addressed with the staff. We do thank you for your business and hope you will give us another chance.
