Beautiful property, well-maintained. The entire Staff was friendly, courteous, helpful, and kind! The food at the Buffet and Restaurants was delicious! We loved how we could walk from our rooms to the beach! The main pool and private pool were awesome! We will definitely return to IGP! Special Thanks to: Ricardo Leonardo Victor Paulina Debora Endrick Abraham Leticia Mia Maria Jorge for making sure we were well taken care of!!

Friendly people, complete relaxation

This hotel is an oasis of everything. Cleanliness, food quality, staff professionalism, activities. It’s a true 5 stars hotel, and I am ready to go back anytime. The best of the best. The Star Friends, all of them, Mariana, Georgia, Jordan, Giancarlo, Abraham AMAZING GUYS. My birthday was AMAZING!!!

I was there six years ago and felt so relaxed and felt like royalty from the second I stepped foot in there. This time around was a different story. Greeting upon arrival was great but past that was much different. Restaurant quality changed for the worst. Felt like everyone was always trying to get an up sell from me after paying a lot of money to begin with.(such as we will give you two free massages but first you must attend some seminar with me first…it’s only a few hours and you will help me with my points the staff told us) Cleanliness of room was not to my standards. I literally took a shower with my flip flops. Toilet back up a overflowed and took them to long to fix. Room service was slow and limited options. Pools were great as always but activities around resort I enjoyed much more last time. To say the least I felt like to really enjoy my time and relax I needed to spend a lot more money on top of what I paid for for all inclusive and food I was not found of except for the hibachi restaurant. Also trying to get into restaurants was difficult and was forced to go to ones I didn’t want just because I had no other choices if I wanted to eat. stayed oceanfront suite and couldn’t even enjoy my balcony for first two days because of the awful smell from built up seaweed that was piled on beach front because we were told they couldn’t remove it all at one time and we just happen to arrive the day they were clearing it which then released an awful sewerage smell in air.

Liked the pools and Tony's restaurant. Didn't like: Japanese restaurant is a joke. Rooms are little outdated. AC broke in the room and water was on the floor all over. Bugs at the balcony, complained but nothing was done. Buffet - same food every day, not many selections. Beach - need to go to another resort's beach (next to ) as this resort's beach is very rocky. Butler service - such a waste of time it is crazy; the most annoying out of everything; hated that so much would not come back to this resort.

I like stuff friendliness, food was very good, hotel itself was beautiful. I do not like beach: very rocky and seawater had a lot of seaweeds.

everything was excelent

Stayed at the Iberostar Grand the week of 4/03 for 10 days. This was our second time staying at this property. It's a very nice resort, clean and well kept with exceptional staff. The staff is also there to assist you in whatever you may need. They are extremely helpful and inviting. The pool bar is still closed due to Covid 19, but all of the pool waiters and waitresses' are constantly there to get you any beverages you prefer. The entertainment staff Yodan and Aaron do a fantastic job of keeping everyone entertained and engaged. The resort was very clean and hand sanitizer was abundant. All the employees wore masks at all times. They give you a Covid test before you leave and you receive your results via a text and paper copy within a few hours. Upon arrival, they did upgrade our room to a pool view room at no additional charge. The nightly entertainment was inside the main lobby area and outside due to the theater area being closed. The beaches were kept really clean everyday by the staff. The things that we noticed since our last visit to this resort was the quality of the food seems to have gone down some. On our last visit, for lunch at Las Brisa Raw Bar you could sit outside on the deck and have lobster and crab legs, but that is no longer available. Toni's was good as was the L'Aelier French restaurant. Venecia Italian restaurant has the best steaks at the resort. The other issue was that the pools were extremely cold. The hot tubs at the quiet pool was warm.

The property was great. Really convenient to get around around the property and the staff was really great. Only thing that was a bummer was the swim up bar was close due to COVID. But they made up for it up with the awesome staff serving poolside.

Iberostar Grand Paraiso is the definition of vacation and relaxation. Once to enter the the lobby you need nothing. Every service is available and is absolutely fantastic. The customer is so detailed and every staff/conceriage/butler were amazing. Book the Iberostar Grand you will not be disappointed. I never write reviews, but after my stay here and I know how challenging it is sometimes to find to best resort, I hope this helps make your decision easier. All of the restaurants were great. Oh, and its beautiful!!!
