ATMOSPHERE
The room and bathroom were really spacious, the hotel was clean but what a hotel like this, after 3 days that I was their guest, when I asked for some coffee they replied that they don't have any and that I have to go and buy it in the shop, this doesn't suit me I would have never expected it. The casino on the other hand is to be forgotten, old and money-sucking slots, impossible to win, one of the worst casinos we have been to.
We tried to take hot showers when we got back to our room about 1:30 am and the water was just barely warm. I was freezing after that.

I've seen worse, but it could be much better. I had a smoking room and there is zero air exchange. I almost choked to death from the smoke accumulation in the room, and I don't smoke that much. I like they are pet friendly. Bathroom sink stopped up, go figure. A lot of burns in carpet and furniture. Smoke/fire detector on wall was missing. Gambling good, but hotel not so much.
The hotel needs some updates. The room was big but the chairs were very stained and carpet was worn and dirty. The bed was comfortable and the casino was good.
Great Hotel and Casino. They do charge resort fees which is not that much. I definitely would stay at this establishments again.
Arrived at 2:30 and was told I was too early to check in. But if I wanted to pay an extra $10 I could go head and check in. Mind you this is a casino, you would think they would realize the faster I get into my room the faster I get into their casino.. I have a working K9 partner at work, I am a fire investigator and had my arson K9 with me.. Their website says they are pet friendly, they are if you pay them an extra $50. I was told if he was a service dog he would be free but since he is a working K9 that didn’t count. Tried to play blackjack and the first dealer was disgruntled and wanted to go home. He would just stop dealing cards to yell at the pit boss about needing to go home.. Then to top it off I am on the 15th floor on the far in of the hotel from the pool. Their is a pool party going on at 11PM that the music is so loud you can not go to sleep.. Doubt I’ll be back. Staff was terrible, just going through the motions, no one acted like they liked their job and customers were putting them out..
Great price on a Sunday night. Big, very nice, clean room. Nice bathroom. Really comfortable - felt like being on vacation and splurging when it was only $100 a night!
Beautifully-appointed rooms, well-maintained property. I will admit I was genuinely surprised by how nice the hotel was, I was not expecting such a beautiful, clean hotel. Food was expensive but very high quality. Free parking. We do not gamble, so I cannot speak to the casino. But the hotel is well-worth your money. We would definitely stay at Horseshoe again.
Room was adequate for stay. Until we peeled back bedding to reveal dirt pieces of cardboard and HAIR in the sheets! Not okay for $300 a night. Also Noodle Restaurant has misleading menu, RUDE employees, and terrible food. Overall, we won’t be staying here ever again.
