The hotel was disgusting, the sheets and bedding were filthy, no towels in the room at all, the shower was horrific and looked like it was growing it’s own eco system. No toilet paper holder, literally just sat on the back of the toilet. There was one washcloth that was black almost. Tv had no sound and was nothing but green glitches. Homeless people in the parking lot that looked dangerous. The environment itself was terrifying, I stayed up the whole night to make sure my car wasn’t broken into or the room bc there was no lock. Overall, horrible experience.

Room needs to have carpet removed and make sure the remote is working properly.

Worst most disgusting hotel I've ever walked into.

We came into town for the weekend to float the Guadalupe River. We wanted a cheap hotel for our first night and a good hotel our second night. The candlewood suites our 2nd night for $230 after taxes was hardly worth it. We should've stayed here again. It's a nice hotel if you're not looking for anything off-the-wall fancy. The bed was nice and firm and room was generally clean. I'd stay here again!

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. For the price i was better off staying at Motel 6. The room was semi clean, there was hot water for about 5 min, the hair dryer in the room didn't work. The only positive thing about this place is the location.

This hotel was dirty inside and out. Had to buy bleach to clean the mildew from the shower before using. The Wifi didn't work, the room was dirty the sheets on the bed had holes in them and there was no comforter on the bed. The TV had a blurry picture. I didn't even go to breakfast if the room was that nasty I didn't want to eat the food. Will never stay there again, I'm just glad I only had to stay for one night.

Our experience was absolutely horrible. We all had the same type of rooms booked for the same days, yet we each got charged a different price. Staff was rude. Several things were damaged in hotel room upon our first arrival through the door. Horrible facility.

When I checked in the girl at the desk confirmed that I had requested a non - smoking room. She put us in a smoking room. These rooms have not been kept up. The carpet was stained, paint in bad shape, and overall not pleasant to look at.the sheet on the beds you could see through they were so thin. We were out of the room all day the next day. When we came back our sink had all kinds of gunk in it that was disgusting. Something had backed up into the sink. We were given immediate attention and the problem was not resolved. It took an hour and a half for them to move us to another room. Again it was a smoking room and smelled worse than the first one. This motel should be rated a 1 not a 2 star. I stay often at another Econolodge in another city that is really nice. I would not stay at this one again.

Bed was comfortable and the TV Works. The staff was very nice. The only problem was that the WiFi did not work.

Great price. Nice staff. Good location. Clean room. Well worth the money.

we stayed here for bobcat day at TSU it was not pleasurable. Could not use dead bolt there was grafiti above mirror and could not shut the bathroom door or lock it. There also was no breakfast. Plus the WIFI did not work. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was a very bad experience for us. I understand a low end hotel and limited services, but there is no excuse a dirty room and bad customer service. • We requested a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. • There were stains on the bathroom door and behind the night stand. • Missing blankets. • No hot water in shower. • Remote control for TV not working. As for Customer Service: • No manager on duty at night when we got there at 12:30 AM. Nor the next morning. • Front desk did not know what to do. And didn’t give us information on who to call.

Stayed here after a day at Schlitterbahn (cheaper than anything in New Braunfels)

Based on the reviews at this site I was a little scared to go with this hotel. But I was wrong. This is a nice place, friendly staff, neat room. excellent for a one night stay. very close to prime outlets, Mcdonalds etc. There was a bar next to the parking lot, which made me a bit nervous to park the car next to that, but fortunately nothing happened. I booked 1 day before travel, so the stay was a bit pricey for one night compared to the facilities.

The hotel is really close to San Marcos outlets, so location was very convenient. The bedroom was clean and it had a microwave in the room, it helped a lot. At night while sleep its hard to sleep since its noisy and at morning there was no hot water in the shower.

I didn't enjoy my stay. The room was smell, there were Iron board, or blow dryer. Over all I didn't like the place. The room smell like mildew. Gross...I don't recommend anyone stay there. They should lower their price to 40.00.

Plus...they accept dogs. That's about it. The rooms are very very old. You feel like you need to sanitze everything it was so dirty and nasty. When we pulled back the nasty coverlet, there was hair on the bed, doesn't suggest fresh linens. Toilet was broken, hot water took 10+ minutes to warm up, the shower spit rather than poured, dirty floors....the whole place is a dump. It was not a pleasant experience. I would suggest going someplace else.
