The facility itself was clean and decent. The front desk was terrible. There was no breakfast. When I called the front desk for fresh towels i was told to go out in the hallway and search for housekeeping and to ask them. That is only one example of the type of service they offer. I will stay somewhere else next time.

We checked in around 2am and was given a room that had not been cleaned. Went upfront and they gave us another room that smelled like pickles. Room was outdated, carpet was dirty, but the breakfast was good. My rate was sixty seven after tax. Good location but would not stay again.

The hotel staff was very pleasant. When I checked in they had everything ready I did not have to ask for anything. The room was in good clean condition.

The concierge was very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure my family was comfortable. He also provided printed directions on places we wanted to visit. The room and facilities were also well kept.

I was only there for 1 night but the location and price was great. Staff was friendly and I really enjoyed breakfast the next morning.

Quick booking. Room was clean staff was friendly. Price was a lityle high for the overall quality of the hotel.

We were quite pleased with the hotel. It's a bit hard to get to since it's on the freeway access road and therefore only accessible from the north. Area is somewhat run-down, but the hotel is not. Nice clean rooms. Hotel was quiet and comfortable. Surprisingly good breakfast, with scrambled eggs and sausage, make-your-own waffles, as well as the standard continental breakfast fare. It's close to what used to be Aquarena Springs, Spring Lake, and a lot of local parks--but then nothing is very far from anything in San Marcos. Small but clean pool, no hot tub. Staff was great, couldn't have been more helpful. I would stay there again if I'm ever back in San Marcos.

Friendly front desk staff and clean room. Well maintained. Nice breakfast bar that included scrambled eggs and a Belgian waffle station.

Quiet, clean and easily found! And a good staff, a good place to finish a long day of driving.

The only complaint I had was that during the night, the a c wasn't cooling adequately. However, I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was tasty. No complaints. A good place to stay!

A very nice and clean room. The front desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was good as well. A great place to stay!

The room was ok, nothing special...I didn't think it was a great hotel by any standard, but it was easy to find.

We made a decision at the last minute to attend Bobcat Day at Texas State University. Your staff was friendly and helpful.

We got there about 4:00 in the afternoon, when we entered our room it was clearly not the non-smoking room I requested. I called the front desk, but she said they were booked and there was nothing she could do even though half the other reservations hadn't even arrived yet. Do you know what it is like to be in a smoking room when you are not a smoker? Because we had prepaid we would have lost our money if we checked out. If this wasn't upsetting enough, when we returned to our room the following night there was NO place to park in the parking lot. The lady offered the KFC parking lot on the other side of the fence, "they are usually pretty good about letting us park there" she offered. We packed our bags and left. I paid for 2 nights NON-smoking and assumed I would at least have a place to park, not what I got at all. Not happy.

Stayed at Best Western for parent's weekend. Good location. Everything clean and comfortable

Came for the Ride 3 Recovery Event. The room was adequate, but extremely noisy, between the I 35 traffic and the uncomfortable bed didn't get much sleep.
