The owners are really horrible people. They let druggies wander about the property buying and selling various drugs. Dont stay in any motel 6 in San Marcos, all 3 Motel 6s are owned by the same, ignorant, mean, ugly people. The staff and owners are rude and racist. A very awful stay. Will never stay there again.

THE ROACHES COME OUT AT NIGHT!

This place is in desperate need of an exterminator. This place needs to be shut down immediately! The people who work there stink, and one ladies breath smelled so bad it was coming into mines. We left for my son’s football game and returned at 4:00 in the morning and cut the lights on in our room only to find ROACHES everywhere; even in the sheets. This place is nasty, the workers are nasty and the water doesn’t get hot because the ROACHES ARE living in the PIPES.

Went to check in and had no king suites left even though I paid in advance. Checked in and they didn’t have keys to make for us to access our room. The beds were too small for us to share so had to sleep separate. Only one towel in a double room for showers. Had roaches in hotel room. The beds had stains on comforter and sheets. It was a horrible stay

Please DO NOT book this hotel

My family’s stay was very uncomfortable. Upon checking in, there was no one at the front desk. We clicked the button to page someone & it took them 5 mins to come. Getting off the elevator to our floor, the smell of dog increase as we got closer to our room. The room next to us had dog hair everywhere on the carpet outside the door. Inside our room (I booked a double bed with full kitchen), my daughter went to shower & was met with pest & roaches. Inside the refrigerator was old ice & spilled drinks. The stove was out of commission missing BOTH knobs. Later that day roaches were crawling on the wall. Our sleep was so uncomfortable that we checked out at 3am the next morning.

When we checked in the room was not ready. The bed was being made but there was no blanket on there. We had to ask twice for a blanket. The ac in the room didn’t work right. We had the temp set to the lowest setting but it didn’t work right. The room cool but only if you slept in your under garments. The was dust everywhere and most of the things in the room were broken. Stove top missing a knob. Stop of stove cracked. Alarm clock didn’t work. There were absolutely nothing in the room to even use the stove. When we booked it said room was equipped with that stuff. Not happy with our stay at all. The staff was great though. The lady who checked us in Marion was so sweet and nice. We didn’t need the blanket after all seeing the ac never got cold enough to use it.

Hotel staff stole my personal belongings

Very disheartened to write such a negative review but this hotel was terrible. I left work to pay my rent that was due and to my shock they had evicted me from the room without any prior notice (they have my card on file) no phone call attempt to reach me. I come to find they had packed my personal belongings, but half of my things were missing and stolen. I reported this to the Owner, and he was very dismissive and rude and does not care about professionalism or customer service. I will be reporting to police, BBB, and any other agencies to prevent this from happening to anyone else. This hotel does not care about anyone staying here and does not respect you or your personal property. Please beware.

Humid on the INSIDE

There was apparently an electrical issue right before we arrived. The whole building's air conditioning wasnt working. Due to the humidity, the locks stopped working on the doors. Our room the first night did not lock at all. They did move us to another room the next day, but that room was so humid the mirrors were fogged. It was rather miserable to try to sleep while soaked in sweat and condensation.
