I checked in and they made my key - and when I opened the door to my room the beds weren't made - the room was filthy. I went back to the front desk to tell them and the guy's answer to the problem was to go to the room to change the sheets. I pointed out that the rest of the room was filthy. So he said - "You mean you don't want the room?" No creepster. I don't. Stay as far away from this place as you can. It's nasty.
Will definitely not recommend! Room was dirty! Microwave was not even working. Bed sheets and towels smell sweat and cigarettes. We booked for 2 nights stay but decided to leave the following day. Waste of money since no refund was given for not staying the second night. Poor customer service!
*************DO NOT STAY HERE********** this is a dirty place....hard bed and very load people that are drunk and stay outside and talk until 4:30am...the office did nothing after calling several times. I was booked for 2 nights and of coarse you have to pay up front and no refunds......we only stayed 1 and went to stay somewhere else.
The check in clerk wasn't particularly nice. She did not direct us to where our room was located, and when asked she provided a vague hand gesture. So my bf and I wandered around reading door numbers. Upon opening the door I saw several bugs on the floor. I promptly squished these. And tried to dismiss the problem, as we had been told ours was the last room available. The room was very bare. The floors were hardwood and it was obvious they had not been swept in a while. The fridge and microwave were nice, but the fridge made an awful racket. The sound was so bad we had to unplug the fridge in the middle of the night. There was a lot of light and noise from nearby highway. Breakfast was horribly lack luster. The beards were stale and the juice tasted more like poorly done Tang. But the shower had good water pressure? Overall not worth the price, even with the discount.
No iron or ironing board in room , super dim light in bathroom , uncomfortable mattress ,,
Clean, well lit, close to everything. It gets the job done if you just wanna sleep, and put your belongings some place. Lacks a view, and beds are stiff. Pool adequate. No hot tub.
Over priced, next to a busy scary looking gas station, people were coming and and out of rooms late at night. The pool view was the gas station next door. The AC was very loud and kept waking my husband when it turned back on. I wouldn't pay more than $50.00 a night for this motel.
front desk agent was very helful and hospitiable ver sweet and energetic theroom was very spacy and clean everything was perfect i would most likely stay again
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and enjoyed the convenience to the river and the affordable rate. The rooms were never what I would call nice, but they served their purpose. This last trip we made was a game changer for me. The front desk person was rude to me and rude to my kid. The room had two double beds and not queen beds as advertised (and as paid for, btw). The toilet had urine on the back of the seat. The phones did not work in either room we had. The rude desk person got into an argument with me about the size of the beds when I complained. I sent my teen son to the lobby (because the phones did not work) to ask for a rollaway bed and he told my son that they were out of roll away beds (which is fine) and that if we had more than 2 people in the room we would be charged $100 extra (which is super not fine). Nope. Never again. Oh, btw, last time we were at this hotel, the pool light under the water was dangling out of the fixture, which may not be dangerous, but it doesn't scream, "hey kids, come on in" either.
They told me when I booked it that it was the last room. When we saw the room it was horrible with fresh paint on the wall & new tiled floors, besides that awful room. When I went to complain about the room & the price they gave us a nicer from for $200 that we were charge. Not enough pillows & towels, that were paper thin and could dry your arms much less your body. The guys at the front were nice but the product totally sucked. Second worst location I have ever stayed in.
