Though I stayed at an off time, it was most satisfactory, and in a good way. The reviews do not give much justice to this motel. It was quite clean, a bit more spacious than the usual room at many other motel-hotels, and quite comfortable. Aside from the 2 hour noise of a guests child playing outside in the parking lot, which I let go, and several improvements, upkeep you notice which is not entirely the owner, managers fault, and needing attention, it is a rather nice spot. For what it is, you can not really complain. You receive a comfortable bed, storage space, a working tv with many more cable channels than many others motels offer, actual hot water in your bath/shower, a chaise style chair/ sofa and a bath/shower and vanity area. The fridge and micro were more than adequate. I normally stay at a medium, more upscale hotel, but always looking to try different things and I would return here. If a guest is seeking to save a few bucks for a night or 2 or 3 and is content on being comfortable with amenities that are sufficient, and that works, then I would recommend staying here.

The staff was very rude and mean to me, accusing me of things I didn’t do. They wouldn’t let me take my breakfast to my bedroom. I accidentally spilled some dry cereal and they made me sweep it up. Otherwise the room was very nice and clean. Better than a lot of hotels in the San Marcos area for the price. I don’t think I will go back if the man and woman working that day will still be there. They tied to apologize as I was leaving, which was nice, but I wanted to stay a few more nights but after the whole breakfast ordeal , I wasn’t gonna stay another night.

The outside of the hotel needs maintenance, leafs to be blown, the outside lights were shut down to early I couldn’t see a thing by 6am. Breakfast could have been better displayed and more options. Receptionist was great.

The rooms are great. My only complaint about my room is my microwave didnt work. And by no fault of the hotel its noisy from the highway. But in your room its not. Tvs are great and the beds are awesome and the people running it are cool
