The hotel and room were very old. The soups we had were terrible.

Hotel was good with average facilities but wifi and food was that good enough

This charming hotel has lots of character. There's a restaurant, bar, pool, jacuzzi, koi pond, computer area, book exchange and gym. Staff is super friendly and above and beyond accommodating. I was even upgraded to a suite this last stay that had an in room jacuzzi, fridge and king size bed. I'll definitely stay here again. PROS -Free airport Shute (must give advanced notice) -Free continental & hot breakfast (nice selection) -Computers & boarding pass printing -Gym (small) -Short walk to grocery store/plaza/spa -Lovely pool area -Free wifi CONS -Rooms near computers/restaurant can be noisy. -Arranging a shuttle from the airport has always been nearly impossible for me. Email or call in advance.

Everyone was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Whenever we needed a taxi or had a question about local places to visit, they were more than happy to assist us.

Friendly staff, excellent food and good location. If you are looking for a place that is cheap and near the airport this is your place.

Accidentally made reservation for 1 instead of 2 people. When I tried to immediately change on-line, was told I needed to cancel the original reservation first. When I tried to cancel and reserve for 2 was advised there would be a $90 charge to cancel. The price of the room was only $79. So I planned to make the adjustment upon checking in but was informed it was $20 extra for my wife. Out of cash on the last night of my 3-week vacation, I asked to use their ATM. They said no problem, I could find the ATM at a market 1 km down the road.

Nice place to stay. Breakfast is good. Cable signal was not that good.

I had a great stay at this hotel during a business trip. First of all, the room was big and perfectly clean. The shuttle service to the airport is really good and convenient, and they even offer the possibility to get a breakfast to-go if you're leaving early in the morning. The people working there are very nice and really make things easy for the traveler.

My wife and I stayed at the Adventure Inn for 2 days at the end of our vacation. The rooms were clean and up to Canadian standards. The staff were pleasant and professional. There is a shopping mall and supermarket about 2KM up the road. A smaller Fresh Market (small supermarket) is only a 1/2 KM away. The breakfast was great. You can order from the menu and while you're waiting, enjoy fresh fruits, baked goods, cereal, fresh juice, boiled eggs, cheese, and outstanding coffee from the continental bar. We ate at the Blue Moon Restaurant twice and enjoyed the meals both times. Free international calls, free access to four desktop computers, and free wifi added to the value. The airport shuttle was free and we prearranged it the night before for our early flight.

I chose this hotel for my 'kids' who were in costa rica for a convention. It was clean, GREAT breakfast every morning, the beds were comfortable, it was a great location to downtown (by taxi) and to Heredia and surrounding communities. We would book this Hotel for a family trip. The only negative and it was fixed immediately: the front desk said they only had one person reserved for the room(we had made it for two), and wanted to charge more. But the online reservation was forwarded to them and no extra charges were incurred. I would also like to commend the Hotel, because the shuttle was on time to pick them up at the airport and for their return flight.

We used this hotel as a stop over on our way to the International Airport in Costa Rica. They had everything organized for a quick stop over, wake-up calls, free ride to the airport, boxed breakfast (when leaving early). There is a restaurant, pool, bar and internet service. Great rate.

Room was a little tired and could be freshened up, but the staff was terrific.

Because of bad weather in Costa Rica we arrived late for our 5 day stay. The reception desk at the Adventure Inn said, Our reservations were canceled. The front desk said sorry.[...]. Well they were able to find a room for two nights we booked for 5 nights. I asked about the other 3 nights? "It was suggested that if I would help out the person at the front desk they may be able to find three more nights". ($100.00) The person at the front desk said you will have to find for yourself those 3 nights in another hotel. But check back in 2 days and we will see what we may have for the missing 3 nights. Again that suggestion ($100.00)would do the trick? The hotel was medium to low rating. If you wanted towels, soap, shampoo and tolet paper you need to tip the maid $10.00 a night or you get nothing.Costa Rica. (6 months it rains A LOT!!) from July to mid January. The other 6 months January to July the weather is nice.We found everything to be very expensive in Costa Rica. Even the people that live in Costa Rica say it is very expensive to live in Costa Rica. Food, Hotels Tours, Gas, Close and Shoes are double to triple what they are in the USA,We had bad experances the time we were in Costa Rica. From being riped off from money exchanges to being overcharged for everything we bought. It seams that everyone is out to get as much as they can from the American and Canadian Tourist.
