A sweet little Gem if you want to be central in the pudding , smack bang in shopping central. Great staff, great location, funky , but ensure to pick a good room , big enough, not 2nd tower with King size bed and street facing window, or you end up in a tiny dark box room facing a courtyard. We upgraded pronto after we saw our room and the extra charge was worth it. 5 nice nights in a smart hotel.

I looked at a lot of places to stay online this year for Pride weekend. I loved the feel of the hotel from the pictures on their website and the real thing did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly from the moment we walked in and continued to be so through all shifts of our stay. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and fun. The game room is a great area to hang out in complete with skeeball, shuffleboard, a pool table, and basketball hoops. The room was on the small side but not unexpected for a boutique hotel in the heart of Union Square. The decor and technology of the room definitely made up for the size. The TV offered internet access, streaming video services and room service ordering. We will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this great city hotel. Whilst the location of downtown San Francisco can make you feel somewhat ill at ease walking round (no fault of hotel), the hotel itself felt like a lovely, relaxed place to spend a few days and base ourselves in the city. The hotel has a fab feel to it, certainly helped by the quirky decor and games room. Staff were attentive and happy to help. Room was modern, sizeable, with a comfy bed, Nespresso machine, large modern TV and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was not included but available in the adjoining restaurant (we opted to have breakfast out and about and were not stuck for choice) - no faults and would highly recommend.

We stayed here for our first visit to San Francisco and were very pleased with our choice! The hotel lobby is really funky with an awesome fireplace and was a great spot for a drink after a day exploring. The hotel is literally a 1 minute walk from Union Square, so a great location and we got Ubers to places further afield. Our room was fine - it was small, but modern and well furnished. I would probably pay more and book a slightly larger room next time for a bit more space. Would definitely recommend this hotel - we would stay here again!

Stayed for 3 nights at the start of our road trip from SF to LA. Hotel is great. Very cool and has some amazing features. The games room downstairs was a hit with our teenage travellers but sadly of the 3 days we stayed it was closed for 2 of the days for private functions. Just off Union Square so good location and staff were polite and very helpful. Breakfast in Ramblers was excellent and staff were very accommodating at providing 'off menu' Rooms were designed well but on a down side had very little storage or space for 3 travellers in one room. I had discussed the size with staff before arrival and was assured it would be big enough so was slightly disappointed when it was cramped. Would recommend this hotel but would look at different room options if staying again.

I visited a friend in San Francisco and the hotel was just a amazing. It just opened about a year ago. Everything is new and very clean. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Steven, who took personally care of all my requests. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For sure I will stay here the next time I'm in San Francisco again!

I have been to San Fransisco many times over the years for work and always stay around Union square and have been disappointed with the likes of the Hilton, Marriott and the bigger names. Most I've experienced have been either a) crap b) expensive or c) both. I saw Zeppelin on Mr and Mrs Smith so decided it must be of a good quality and was very impressed. It's a bit noisy but I'm not bothered by street noise and the price and location were right so worth it in my books. Stylish rooms with a rock and roll flair. Great bar and restaurant too. Would visit again in the future.

Perfect location two blocks from union square. Wonderful and helpful staff. If you stay here, great cafe up the block for breakfast. Also easy to access the Muni and Bart Powell station a few blocks away as well as all the shopping around Union Square. Really great restaurant on site and cool game area and bar area. Nice unique rooms and mine was really quiet.

Being Slightly more expensive than their closer competitors I expected a little more from this hotel. That said it was fantastically located just a few minutes walk from Union Square, had a young vibe and offered all it promised to. The rooms are small, but this is usual for this city and they contained everything you needed (with the exception of a shower cap) One thing I noticed was the distinct lack of wardrobe space to hang your clothes, and a lack of drawers or shelving. So, if you're a party of 2 with clothes for more than a couple of days as we discovered you'll end up living out of your case! The hotel bar was very expensive and the bar maid quite rude, un helpful and arrogant so we didn't use it again after our first experience as there were plenty of better, friendlier locations to grab a wine nearby. We didn't eat at the restaurants as we like to venture out, so try Honey Honey back up Post Street for breakfast. That said, we had a fun stay here and prior to our stay enjoyed good communication with the staff via email who recommended and made reservations for a local restaurant.

Stayed here as part of a wedding party, booked and paid in January for June arrival, 4 king superior rooms total cost $5000. Only 2 of the rooms were near each other, different spec and one room was upgraded....but sadly not the bride and groom. No effort or acknowledgement that this was a wedding party, I told reception how disappointed I was and that night they left a note and half a bottle of wine in the bride and groom room.....HALF A BOTTLE!! Had the chance to impress and show the customer service we expected and despite a prompt and nudge blew it. Save your money on chic boutique, stay where you are valued.
