There is no restaurant, bar or anywhere to purchase anything you may need. The carpet was really dirty and room seemed like it had not been used since the sink was not working correctly. Overall not the best experience.

Good location.

I've stayed here twice, but will not stay here again. The hotel is nicely appointed, well located, and reasonably priced. It has a great lobby bar and a modern vibe. However, it's an intolerably noisy place on weekend nights. At first, I assumed the hotel shared a wall with a nightclub or bar, given the noise I was hearing on Saturday night. But then I figured out that it was the people in the room above us having a party. I called the front desk, expecting them to quiet these other guests, only to be told flatly that hotel had an intentional reputation as a "party hotel where people could make some noise on the weekends", and that they didn't enforce quiet hours until 11:30. Even then, nothing was done about he noise. A terrible night in an otherwise cool hotel, but given what they told me, it sounds like a typical experience.

game room great elevator broken not enuf space / counter space in bathroom nor enough lighting sheets cheap

The hotel is very clean. The interior boasts a modern design with a 60s rock motif. It is centrally located within Union Square, and a short distance from restaurants and public transportation centers.

Great location. Cool decor and great overall hotel. Very friendly staff.

Friendly greeting and service. The establishment was neat and different while being clean and well kept. The AC didn’t work in the first room so we got switched and it was great from then on. The toiletries were wonderful. And the game room was amazing! Would come here again and recommend it!

Very cool hotel with an amazing vibe! The staff was amazing!!

My kids loved the game room! Room was nice but a bit too small

It was a great location! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great style and comfort - would stay here again. Front desk staff very accommodating and pleasant, ease of checking in and out

Great boutique hotel, a lot of charm, amazing tv setup with room service ordering. Plus we found out you can sit in the lounge and still order delicious food by the fireplace which was nice! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay by union square (easy walk to many places).

Somewhat avant garde hotel spread over two buildings, making it necessary to use two separate elevators to get to some of the rooms, The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made the check in / check out process easy and smooth. the room was a little small, but the bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was very appreciated. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch.

Loved the décor. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful.

cool design. gym a bit warm... overall liked experience.

Hi Patricia, We are sorry to hear you had a less-than-stellar experience at our property. The company that operated the restaurant and bar prior to the pandemic decided to close permanently before the hotel reopened, and we are currently in search of a partner to take over the spaces and operations. Your comments have been forwarded to our Housekeeping and Engineering departments for follow-up. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback, and we hope you will give us another chance on your next visit to San Francisco!
