Loved this place. Great location, clear communication and it was very nice. Fun to stay right downtown. Walking distance to the Gaslamp District, Petco, etc. I hight recommend!
It was a nice cheap stay for a weekend trip. Parking can be a little tricky but other than that I really enjoyed my stay and the beautiful, comfortable design of the room.
Amazing location downtown with easy walking to shops and restaurants. Very clean room with amazing staff, the amenities on the rooftop weren’t working but the staff said they should be up soon.
The stay was great! I requested early check in and they kept the request. The location was great!

Good for a short stay if you just need a place to sleep. The room could have been cleaner—there were visible stains on the bedding and leftover items from a previous guest, which made it feel like housekeeping wasn’t thorough. It was also quite noisy, not just from the location but from inside the building, with frequent door slamming and noticeable noise from plumbing and upstairs activity.
It was a good stay once I got the door access down.

Great location but we could hear street noise like the property wasnt ensonorated We heard someone opening a can of “pop” from our room and really need some curtains or something for darkness. The barn door wasn’t closing properly so very embarrassing since was traveling with unrelated people.
This pplace has no staff, but we able to get into the hotel with no problems. The only thing I would say that was a little bad about the plpace is there is no amenities except for free coffee. So if you want like snacks and soft drinks for example you will need to bring all of that. But the place was really clean, the bed was super comfortable to sleep in, and the bathroom shower was great. Perfect pleace if you are just going to be in town for a night or maybe two. The room doesn't have a closet so a long trip with a lot of stuff maybe hard.
it was the perfect room for what I needed, a place near petco park, my own bathroom, easy check in and out, a downtown balcony and an area where I can refill my water bottle. can’t be upset with a downtown area being loud at night but besides that they do provide ear plugs.

I would never have stayed there if I knew that I had to check in online, give my personal information, credit card information, photos of my dace and drivers license. I was extremely tired and it took about 45 minutes otherwise I couldn't go to my room.
This property was a great find. The location was ideal, especially if you like to walk the neighborhoods. It's a no thrills property, which was perfect for me
The room was spacious and well appointed. The cookies and canned water were a welcome touch.
The daytime concierge on site was super nice and charming and professional. I had casually mentioned that the barn door on my bathroom was jammed, but that it wasn't a big deal. The next day the barn door magically worked.
Definitely take advantage of the roofdeck.
I'll definitely come back if I'm in San Diego.
I stayed three nights for a conference. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Liked the modern updates. Was able to stash my bag there early. They had good communication and the self check in was easy. Close to a few grocery stores and walking distance to the waterfront where the conference was. Would recommend!
