Stayed here for spring break with two families and grandparents. For us, we would certainly encourage others to stay here. The best thing about this property is the location. It was never more than 20 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go, plus it was close to grocery stores, Costco, etc. while still being in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were amenable to allowing a larger group than was listed on VRBO which was very nice of them. The (saltwater) pool was great and despite being April, not cold enough for us to pay to warm the pool. They had all sorts of pool toys our kids took advantage of. Kitchen was well stocked. We don’t go out to eat very often on vacation and this was a huge plus for us as we had adults and kids and there was plenty of equipment to cook, cutlery fo eating, and shelf space for food. Two of the bedrooms are adjoining (couldn’t go to one without going through the other), which worked great for us and our young children. Reasons you might look elsewhere-There is not much of a yard to speak of if that matters to you, the majority of the back of the house is a covered deck and pool. It was close enough to the beach for us, but it’s certainly not ON the beach. It’s a 10-15 minute drive to get there (depending where you want to go). If you wanted to bike or walk to different locations, rather than drive, this likely wouldn’t work. But this is southern CA…Overall this was a wonderful place four families.
