This place was a great location. Very close to the beach, but far enough away as to not be super loud. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated as it was pretty hot in the afternoons and you could keep the windows closed so you can't hear the airplanes much at all. The "7" bedrooms wasn't exactly what we expected because the one room you had to walk through the master bedroom to get to. So if you need enough rooms for adults just realize there's not much privacy for those 2 rooms. The one twin bedroom is very small but again it didn't really matter to us. We were very comfortable and loved the place.

Our stay in San Diego was wonderful—such a lovely spot just steps from the beach. The home comfortably accommodated all 14 of us, plus our small dog, making it perfect for gathering everyone together. We had the best time celebrating Christmas with friends and family, creating memories we’ll cherish for years to come.

Our family had a fabulous stay at this beach house. The location was perfect for my six grandchildren-they only had to walk a few steps to the ocean. The boogie boards were an huge hit and were used every day! The rooms were all clean and comfortably furnished. We truly lacked for nothing! The hosts responded promptly and graciously to our every inquiry. Our family was gathered in San Diego for a somber occasion but this house, the sound and smell of the ocean, the beautiful view from the rooftop lounge…it soothed our souls. A welcomed bonus was the two coffee shops just steps away. This was a fabulous stay and my family is grateful and appreciative to our hosts.

Great location and super roomy!

We stayed here for a group of 15 girls ages 30-40 for my sisters bachelorette party and had a great time. Plenty of room for entertaining and also to have time to rest. The separate apartment downstairs was great as two in our party are pregnant and it gave them extra privacy to relax when needed. Highly recommend for a larger group gathering.

Everything could not have been more perfect on our family vacation with my three boys and their families. They had the two top floors and I stayed in the apartment on the first floor. The boardwalk is very close and there are plenty of stores and restaurants close by. I would definitely come back again.

Two families of 5

We come to San Diego every summer and this has been our favorite house so far! Every room was so comfy and accommodating. Wish all of the rooms had TV’s but that’s nothing major. Washer and dryers are a must for a family of 10, having two sets was a life saver! We loved the location and will be returning next summer!

The location of the property is just amazing! We were able to walk to the beach and the bay. The beach is steps away from the house. The are restaurants and markets walking distance from the house. The Belmont park is very close. We took scooters and bikes out. The neighborhood is safe and our kids had tons of fun and freedom to hang out. The house is a bit outdated, but the location makes up for any of it. We had a blast and would absolutely recommend staying here!

Proximity to the beach, restaurants and Belmont Park ( small amusement park at the beach ) was wonderful. The home had all the necessary amenities, our hosts checked with us to see if all was in order. The living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and spacious. Due to cool weather we did not use the rooftop deck, it looked great but the circular stair to access the roof did look potentially difficult for small children and seniors to navigate. Our only issue was the parking garage, the spaces are a little tight, of the 3 cars in our group only one was able to use the garage ( a mid-size sedan ) the SUV and truck had to find parking in the public parking. (only 1-2 blocks away)All in all we enjoyed our stay in the Mission Beach Home

The views from the rooftop were absolutely spectacular, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. The home easily accommodated our group of 13 without ever feeling crowded. The layout was like a charming maze—we had such a great time exploring and figuring out which staircase led where! With three generations traveling together, it worked out wonderfully: the grandparents enjoyed the comfort of the first floor, the teens loved being near the kitchen on the second, and the adults had the third floor to themselves. It was the perfect setup. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share such a memorable experience!– The Croce Family

The house was ready before the check in time of 4 pm. All the amenities were great. The kids loved the boogie boards and all the beach towels were much appreciated. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the firepit and had s'mores one evening. Being so close to the beach was fantastic. One suggestion: in the information about the house it is stated that one of the bedrooms had a twin bed. A more accurate description would be that the bed is child sized. My 11 yr old granddaughter is less than 5 feet tall and she barely fit in the bed. An adult would not have been able to sleep in that bed. My family enjoyed the stay in the home and we were able to make wonderful memories.Thank you.

AZ/TN Family Get-Together (Williams_Hall)

The online representation of the house was accurate. It was very spacious and accommodating for our 12 -14 member gathering and this was the our main reason for reserving this property. I loved that the bedding and towels, which were fresh, crisp and very white. The building was on the older side but looked renovated. We were okay with that. The apartment connected to the house was nice to have too, but not up to date like the main house. The washer/dryers in both units could be updated and the garages could too. Don't pass on this property because it really is worth the price for the space and the beach is only a 2 minute walk from the front door. I wish there was a better view of the beach but it right there! Judy from AZ/TN

It was fun

We were all very excited about staying at this property. It was very close to the beach as well as a coffee shop, market and places to eat. Belmont park was within walking distance which was good for the teens. Overall this place was good. I will say that there is zero option for early check-in, not even to store luggage while you wait. I was able to speak to someone the day of and they directed me to a place that was very close that was able to sotre our bags until the house was ready. It was not super expensive either. The pictures are a bit deceiving as the house appeared bigger than it was. It was a very beautiful house, but it got a bit crowded for 13 people. The rooftop balcony was very nice! we were able to grill and hang out by the fire pit. Very cool. The biggest issue that I had was that there is a queen bedroom attached to the master bedroom and its in the fine print that you msut read. Had I known that, I may have tried to find another house due to the inconvenience. If you dont mind having people going in and out of your room to use the restroom or coming and going for whatever reason, you will be fine. Overall, our stay was amazing and the house served it's purpose. I would rent again.

We had a great time and loved staying here! We were having an early celebration of our upcoming 50th anniversary including 6 adults and 4 kids. The room accommodations worked great. The 13 year old had the little private twin bedded room (which she loved). The family with the 4 and 9 year olds had what we called a "family Suite" - bedroom with full bed, bedroom with bunk beds and trundle and full bath. The 3rd floor bedroom was perfect for the other family with a full bathroom, Queen bed and twin which was great for the 8 year old (who took advantage of the trundle with his cousins 1 night). The master on the 3rd floor was spacious and the bathroom was super with the giant dual headed shower. We had plenty of space in the living area and the kitchen was very well stocked. We loved the rooftop deck with the grill and fire pit and the kids loved seeing the Drone show from SeaWorld. Literally 1 minute walk to the best beach, and 6 minute walk to Belmont Park. The host was great, very responsive and helpful. Thank you for helping make some wonderful family memories.
